Delay the inevitable deforestation by bit66
Protect the plant and let it grow into a big beautiful tree.
I used Godot 3.4.2 with C# in vscode to do most the work. The art was done in aseprite and sound a mix between sfxr and my own microphone (+pitch changes).

1. The bucket's state should be 10x more obvious. It was hard to know if I had water or not or if I had splashed it on something successfully. The splash/usage of water has to have a juicy animation to convey that it has been spent (and where it was used).
2. Why do I need to pick up the bucket? Can't I just start by holding it?
3. Are the upper platforms relevant? I found myself running around only on the ground.
Great foundations here! Just needs a bit more polish to really hook me.
I am impressed with audio that you made and overall mood, good job :v:
But I definitely wanted some more mechanics to interact with the tree, in order to help it grow
The gamemplay could be improved. For example:
- I think the enemies should die on the fire or try to jump.
- Having more paths to reach the items and make them temporal
- The water should be more effective against the fire.
