Flower Power

Heyho, my name is C64Gamer and I created this game for the LD50 game jam. All assets are selfmade and no Unity asset store package was used.

Story

You are farmer!

As a farmer you know that there is one inevitable thing that you can´t avoid! Bad weed! Bad weed will always grow anywhere, unless you do your best and start farming sunflowers on your farm! :-)

You delay the inevitable by watering your land and growing sunflowers. Bad weed will only grow again, if you don´t have a sunflower on your farm or you don´t water your farm. If the bad weed grows until it reaches your water pipe, the pipe will be destroyed and you lose the fight against nature.

Controls

W – climb up & turn to plant/chest A – walk left S – climb down D – walk right Space key – farm plant / turn on water / turn off water / sell bad weed and sunflowers

!!!Important!!! The MacOS and Linux build are untested right now

I've playend on the web, but as you mentioned you didn't test Mac build I went doing it for you and unfortunately it didn't launch on my m1 Mac. But good news is that game's already good in browser :)

Nice chill game. Cool pixel especially character and a nice mechanic. Very unique good game.
Anyway around the look up or down on space deal? I kept forgetting in the beginning :)

Quite relaxing and chill puzzle game. Idea is good, graphics look quite great to me. Music is relaxing and help avoiding panic when weeds get too high xD

Very cute and peacefull game :)
Having to turn to the flowers with W before interacting with them is a little bit slow but works like a charm with the relaxing mood of the game so good work :)

Really addictive, such a fun game to play! Music was soothing to my ears and it was so satisfying to see the sunflowers pop up.

This is a relaxing game that put me in a good mood, good job. Just FYI, you can make the UI scale with the screen size using a Canvas Scaler so it doesn't need to be played in full screen.

The vibe reminded me a lot of stardew valley - is that what you were going for? This is a very cute game, I enjoyed it a lot.
