Bloodlust by MaDness

A lowly lumberjack wakes up one morning with a strange taste for blood. Your thirst must be quenched or you will fall victim to your fever. Quench your thirst by killing people in a small town and consuming blood vials. You may pick up weapons off your victims which can boost your attack damage and attack rate. Hide in pots or go to the forest to evade attackers. Learn your enemies schedules to find the opportune time of attack. Some enemies are stronger than others so you must strategize who your first victims may be. You only have two options kill or be killed.

Here are some things that I think can be improved upon:
- There is no feedback when switching weapons. They all feel and look the same when using them so it feels a little pointless to switch them
- I was not able to figure when I should be hiding in pots and when I should be fighting. It would be good to communicate more clearly which enemies are too strong for you.
- I think the combat might feel a little better if you could attack while moving
Overall, great job!
Also, noticed you save the progress of the game. This is a great feature, but I think you should also add an option to reset your progress. Also, I know since this is a game jam there isn't much time (and you opted-out of the category), but sound/music would have made this game much better. Still, a pretty fun game! Good job!
Overall I had fun, few bugs here and there but hey, it's game jam so all good.
Collecting the weapons and hiding in pots is really nice touch which adds depth to the game.
The combat could be improved a little bit. Maybe being able to attack while moving would make the combat smoother.
Also noticed some graphic glitches close to the map boundaries:

But still a nice game. Keep it up!

Good job overall!
