this game has potential.
i thought it was too easy, more difficulty/ harder difficulty settings would have been nice
also the audio. it drives me crazy!

Bem simples, mas pelo menos funciona, diferente de certos jogos ¬¬

Acho que deixar a subida mais rapido e usar lava ao inves de agua deixaria mais legal ;)

Nice straightfoward game. Controls are snappy, though the jumps are a bit floaty.

This game is pretty easy. Scrolling speed could increase while the game progresses to make things more interesting.

Simple & fine game, though there are two main problems
1. Camera follows water (moves with water rising), instead of player - what this does, is that the player will have to wait if he's at the top edge to progress, as camera is slowly moving upwards with water.
2. Player cannot jump from anywhere on the ladders/rope, only from top - this is quite frustrating and there's usually no need to climb to top, sometimes the camera is in the way anyway & the player cannot move from the ladder until he's on top of it.

Overall though, nice try

I think, if water rising would speed up with time, it would make the game a bit harder and more interesting. Anyway, pretty nice game and cool music!

Wow, apart from the graphics style and difficulty this feels EXACTLY like an Atari 2600 game, especially audio

It was quite easy to reach the top. I spent most time waiting at the top of the screen as the scrolling was very slow.
The jumping is a bit floaty but the platforming is decent.

Simple, nice game, although it has quite a few flaws.

1) The fun in such games is hidden in the chaotic feeling of jumping from platform to platform. This game, however, is extremely easy, owing to the very slow camera speed. In fact, I was able to win on my first try (which felt pretty nice lol)! That however brings me to the next flaw I found:

2) The connection to the theme is, for lack of a better word, missing. Since it's a winnable game, I'm not quite sure what inevitable thing the player is delaying.

3) This is somewhat minor in comparison to the previous ones, but about half the time I spent playing the game, I was stuck to the top of the screen, waiting for the camera to progress so I can move to the next rung. Although I understand this was a conscious design choice owing to the balancing, it could once again be fixed by making the camera speed scale with time.

Overall, it's a good effort! I liked the graphics and found the audio to be easily the best part of the game. I think with some much needed polish, I can see it being a nice little mobile game :D Good job!

Fun, complete game. I found it quite easy - spent most of the time near the top of the screen, and won (got to the sky) my first time. Graphics were simple but appealing, and it had music, even, which is a plus.

The Game is very easy, but you're mostly just waiting for the camera to move.
actually, this game reminded me a lot of my game (its the same basic idea of a platformer where you are trying to escape rising water), but your game could really use some more polish.

This is a fairly primitive game, but it has a lot to like. It actually avoids many of the pitfalls that platformers in LD fall into. Collisions are accurate, and I didn't get stuck in walls at all. As for critique, I'm going to go against the grain and say that autoscrollers are fine, this one is just a bit too slow. Faster scrolling and more gravity would make for a much snappier, more fun, and more challenging experience.

Congratulations on finishing your game. I can tell you put a lot of work into it, even if you still have a lot to learn.

Pretty basic and short game, I think a difficulty increase and a longer level would be beneficial. I liked the rope and ladder system though, they were quite fun to use.

As others have said, changing the speed or even just having it be faster overall might help make it less meditative and more frantic. The most intense part was the very beginning, in which not paying attention means losing right away. Otherwise, it was easy to avoid the water so long as I didn't make a mistake.

I wasn't able to jump once at the top of a ladder, which may or may not have been intended, but basically I needed to climb, then fall sideways to land on something below.

Good job getting music in! Audio is often delayed until it is too late.

Nice game! But I think the camera was following the water instead of following the player.
