We were pretty proud of the restricted view as soon as we came up with it. The adrenaline just makes you faster and the psychedelics have the dual effect of widening your view and allowing you partially see Death chasing you -- who is very difficult to see. So neither really extends your lifetime, but they allow you to keep one step ahead of Death incarnate.
