This is quite fun, and exceedingly difficult! Nice job!

i think you did an excellent job with the tutorial being delivered stage by stage, and the music set a great atmosphere, it all felt very immersive.

i didn't expect to die instantly when the blue meter ran out, the heart symbol made me think it would drain just one life point, so that was pretty brutal.

this is just a personal note, but i think "violence is the only answer" is pretty over done in games, and i was looking forward to more puzzles / dodging than just attacking enemies.

Wow, this was hard...! ^^; Plus, I've been playing too many From Software games apparently, 'cause I couldn't seem to get it through my head that the rolls didn't have invincibility frames...

The music and the graphics worked great together. Really simple but at the same time clean and fairly polished.

I like the take on the theme, too. I've seen a few games with a time until you die mechanic in this jam, but so far this is the one that I felt was best tuned to the actual task you were expected to complete, taking into account the likelihood of setbacks. Not too much, not too little.

Great job!

It was a fun little dungeon explore / bullet hell game. It was well polished, the level was well designed. I got to the point here and had to stop due to my old fingers:

Fantastic game. Some levels felt like I was almost speedrunning the game but the progress bar ran out anyway. :D

I think the game is very well balanced. It was hard, but not because it is clunky. You can learn how to defeat different enemies so it is very satisfying in the end.

What I maybe liked most was that enemies could get hurt by the environment. Such a nice little detail I used during my playthrough alot.

The labyrint ending wrapped up the game to fit the theme was good.

One of the most fun games I played so far, Well done!

I'll be honest I have no idea how to reply to comments and thank all of you individually, so until I figure it out, thanks a lot to everyone!

The difficulty may be a little over the top, didn't seem to let much place for error. I don't know, maybe it is intended to be somewhat of a die and retry in the mindset of speedrunners. Some indications about that beforehand would be great. I think I entered this with the wrong mindset and it does have a big impact on the gamefeel down the line.

Real nice graphics and feel! Simple input and a nice challenge - the difficulty is a bit high, but it did make me try again and again.
The music amping up in intensity was a nice touch too.

Great level design ! The way you used the theme was also very clever, and it allowed for some challenging rooms, where you have to speedrun but at the same time take as less damage as you can. A really good game !

Fun game! I think the movement was a little too slippery, but otherwise the controls felt good and it was a good amount of challenge. Also appreciated that there were checkpoints.

great game, I dig the art and feel. The second health bar is misleading, it drains immediately and some of the visual ambient objects look interactable but aren't maybe gray them out

Good game! The soundtrack is especially captivating, adding an uneasy feeling of urgency. I downloaded the game and sometimes my character got stuck while I was pressing the movement key, but I guess this was unintended. Other than that, some little Quality of Life improvements like a minimap could add to an already great experience. Great job!

Fun game! A view Thoughts I have:

- The instructions in the chests are a great idea, however they behave a bit glitchy. Sometimes they keep reopening and the blue bar keeps depleting while that is happening. It took me several times to know that E was attack.
- The graphics are done very nicely! Big compliments! I wanted to say that, as I cannot rate for graphics

Fun! I liked the idea of the game and the chests being instructions is great (and I love this pixel art style)

I think it's good to make chests talk even if you get far from they because this help to create a fast pace of progression

Great job! :)

as a fun of this style-genre-type of roguelike I like it. Would fit well even mobile platforms. Even though it's quite obvious theme interpretation you did great job here!

I liked the concept, but the attack being q and e is a bit awkward. Also got a bug with the attack tutorial chest where it would close out before telling me how to attack, heh

The violence is the answer dialog kept resetting so I couldn't figure out how to attack :(

Otherwise, great polish and music!
