Cute game! Liked the simple art and the awesome game idea! One complaint tho, I know this is a game jam and all but you need to make sure you have coyote time if your game is a platformer dependent on making precise movements... Overall, your game was nice!

Thanks for playing! it's my first time to make a platformer and I have tiny experience about it, I will make it better next time.

Very interesting concept! I enjoyed the puzzle difficulty progression too! Art style is simple yet effective. My only criticism would be the music is a little repetitive, also that high melody is quite ear piercing after a while, a quick music toggle would solve this though :) Awesome game!

Super interesting concept, beautiful art, nice audio! The movement is a bit fiddly, but that's fine, it's your first platformer! Had a lot of fun playing it and looking forward to the games you make in the future :D

Nice puzzle game! It was a little hard when there are spikes and I don't really find the type of player collusion necessary for the game. Well done.

Art is well-detailed for a 48 hour jam game, & music is pleasing to listen to. Unfortunately, I got stuck on the level where it introduces how to control the delay time. Good job though!

Those spikes were a bit hard to time... but nice entry! Well done!

Not sure if I've cheesed half the levels, but it's a very challenging game regardless! I like the graphics as well.

Good dam it shadow, that was not what I meant you to do. I liked the game and trying to tame the shadow. The fact that there is a delay to the shadown movement makes the game more intresting and challenging then if the shadow would have moved with the inputs directly. Thanks for making this game.

I really liked the game! Have fun running with your shadow! Interesting idea! I liked that we can jump on the shadow to complete the level!

#### The good
- good take on the theme (although I find it cheesy when people involve the theme in their storytelling ;) let players decide)
- snappy controls

#### Area of improvement
- needs better level design
- difficulty curve between the levels is chaotic
- music should continue playing instead of restarting on each level
- missing SFX (which are more important than music)

#### Conclusion
Has potential, good fit for the theme, needs work.

p. s. I wonder how you finished the spikes level. Can you please show a video?

overall nice pizza game.
I believe that the shadow mechanism is the core feature you want to show us.
However, in the last few levels, the part the spike jumping is much more difficult to handle compare to the shadow puzzle, it shift my focus (should also include many others) from the creative puzzling stuff to action jumping part.
I sincerely think this game should deep dive into the shadow mechanism level design instead of spike jumping and this make me feel pity

I enjoyed the game. Graphics are awesome. Changing the delay is a great idea!

Good job!

@360 Thanks for the long evaluation! In fact I think my game not match the theme so well(I misread the theme as delay is inevitable), so that's why I get rid of theme rate.
I will post a video later to showup how to pass all levels, thanks for playing!

Very innovative mechanism with the shadow delay and interesting take on the theme. Graphics and music are good ! But I had a reaaally hard time controlling the player, especially when I wanted to climb on top of my shadow and kept slipping... Great entry still, good job !

Gameplay:
I only managed to get to level 3, which feels impossible to solve. Atleast i have absolutely no idea how to. The general concept is cool though.

Also i was confused, if i need to jump into the door, as no further hints were given, what exactly to do besides stepping on triggers.

Graphics:
The graphic style is need and clear.

Audio:
The music loop gets kind of annoying fast. It would be nice to have an option to either mute it or change the volume of the music.
The Footsteps do not match the speed of the character, so we get like 1 step every second, while the character makes dozens of steps. playing the sound a little bit more often could help here.

I can imagine that this puzzle game can be really fun to play, as the mechanic is cool, but as i have no idea how to progress i can't really give more of a rating here.

Wow i really like this mechanic especially when you gain the ability to control the delay, pretty original.

Good challenge level, not too hard but still tough.

One small point of feedback, you should let your music track play consistently instead of stopping and restarting it every level -- if you finish levels quickly the player doesn't get to enjoy the full music you created!

I really enjoy the concept of "delay your shadow's time" when it comes to the puzzle platformer, and this is a really well-made and delicate one. Things got a lot trickier when you could control your delay time, which reminds me of how braid could operate your player similarly. This is a fantastic game for a compo entry!

Nice game.
The level that I can control the delay time is too difficult.
Although delay time become 0, the shadow still can't stand on self and run together. It really confused me.

Really nice game! I've played several platformers that have a similar mechanic of controlling two characters at once, but never with the delay, that was a fun and interesting twist! Great work :)

Nice puzzle mechanic, I don't think I've seen a shadow-based game where you interact physically with your shadow like that.

Changing the delay was a little annoying due to how long and how many button presses it took. Holding down the key to change would help.

Graphics are very nice and the audio is well done.

I love the concept, but the lack of things I might expect in platformer (coyote jump being one) made it a bit frustrating for me. Also, I would easily slide off the edge of things if I got even a few pixels over an edge.

This game is the perfect puzzle platform game of Ludum Dare 50!

I am so glad to play this game, thank you so much for this experience, and the fact that you did all by yourself it's really amazing!

The sound, art, everything is on point! :D

I enjoyed the idea. It would probably help to make it a little bit more forgiving. I think that when you gain the ability to control the delay, it starts getting real tricky. Overall nicely done.
Oh! And did I mention that I love the character's graphic? :)

Very cute and clever game! The controls were a bit too advanced so I cheated and asked @lumous for help on the last level.

Thank you for sharing your game with me on Twitch (MsMiaChar)! The playthrough is available at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1451579897?t=01h03m37s

Really Nice mechanics, maybe use more flat diffuculty will helps people to better understand the use the mechanics, I am confused with the shadow collide with spike or death rules, maybejust set 3 metrics of delay will be more clear.
