Who knew scratching your ass could fill you with determination. My only complaint is that I couldn't go the full plumber route (if you can someone tell me). Cant wait to get the full experience with music/etc after the jam. Will try more possibilities later!

Would get paid to be addicted to social media again.

Great work! Really clean UI and a well functioning dialogue system! Very funny - a great investment into the humour category

I really liked the story, loved all the routes (and jokes) I could take pretty far. Great work, my friend!

Oh wow, didn't expect that (in a good way)! I kept my pride and got fired in the end. Sad, but usually true, take on the theme here.

Really like the take on the theme. Thanks for letting me experience what it feels to be a game director so I can plan for the future ahah

This is great writing! the mood of the game was top-notch as well, inevitably failing at my dream job with that background and those colors felt better than it should.. haha
Great submission!

Fun writing.

Always nice to see more narrative works in LD. I do think this might have been improved with some backing audio or art, but that can be hard when you're running solo.

Nice work!

What a vicious character, trying to get us to port to mobile. Great simple visuals and incredibly compelling narrative, enjoyed this a lot!

Some sort of sound would really help the mood... Also the story was really funny and I enjoyed playing very much.

The game is amazing! I love the humor. It lacks some music on the background for the fool mood to me. Anyways, good job!

Very cool concept! I liked the direction of the story and the concept, although the set of choices was sometimes a bit railroading. I guess not giving the player a chance to have a successful career puts an inherent dampener on things.

Presentation-wise, a little bit of audio and music would have done a LOT for adding more mood and emotional feel.

Ahh... Yes.

Despite being a little bit disappointed that I couldn't find a way to nod along and secretly make the game as intended behind the boss' back (then presumably get fired after it released anyway), I really liked this!

The understated humour made me chuckle and the visuals were nice and relaxing without being overly distracting. I didn't even notice them for a while until there was a particularly hard-to-miss colour change and I stopped for a moment just to watch the pretty circles floating across the screen.

I think a little bit of similarly non-distracting audio would have gone a long way here. Maybe even something a bit corporate, given the theme, like easy-listenin' or muzak--you know, lift music (or stairwell music, depending on your choices in the game). :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, it would have been good to have the character names differentiated from the dialogue in some way. That could have been making them larger, bold or even just all-caps. Fortunately, it didn't cause too much of an issue because of placement, but it would have been a nice extra touch.

Overall, I enjoyed it! Great job!

I liked how I could scratch my *ss before checking my email.
On a more serious note: some simple background music would've improved the immersion/mood quite a bit :)

Anyway: Good job!

Excellent story. I ended up chasing every ending and finding every branch. I love when a game does that for me.

Nice game, some corporate muzak and sfx would really add to the humor, but really nice entry. I think I kinda managed to soft-lock the game after ignoring the co-worker and extinguishing all the possibilities.
