This is epic! The fact that I am playing against other fruits is incredible and I really like the gameplay where you have to press the right keys to keep your momentum. Maybe add some sort of menu or something where you explain a little about the game and controls. Overall 8/10

This is really satisfying to play - I'd have loved a few more levels! This would make a great minigame in something like mario party etc, being able to push and squash the other competitors is really neat.

I like the game! It's quite fun, with a little tweeking and more levels it'd sure be a blast! :) The only thing I really feel missing is that it feels quite impossible to build up enough speed, even if you get the corners just right.

Interesting idea - I would love to see more levels with maybe some moving obstacles - that would make you have to plan for your movement. Really enjoyed the experience of playing your game :)

Nice game, although I didn't make it to the second level :) - Bouncing off other fruits is fun.

I think thats an orange with a grapefruit insides ;) Game is fun. It's sometimes hard to tell your orange apart from the others. Also the controls could be more responsive.

Overall a nice entry and i had fun playing it.

I had a good time and the splash effects from hitting walls and fruits are awesome. The gameplay is fun but I personally would have liked to be able to go at more breakneck-speeds/higher momemtum speeds when getting corners just right.

The damage mechanic is a pretty cool tradeoff between being fast and being safe, thinking of it as a fruit-based F-Zero game. Could be awesome if you expanded it a bit.

@karmelyth the original idea was an F-zero style racer with balls that have a protective layer that makes them invulnerable to everything except running into walls, and then maybe have branching paths with various hazards like turrets and stuff. so u can kind of play risky to get ahead, but if you lose your shield the game becomes harder - so maybe later I'll get to making an even better version of that

ORANGE ROLL!!! I love the sense of speed you managed to convey. Something about seeing the funnyfruits get obliterated on sharp corners makes me chuckle. A bummer that it wasn't able to be more fleshed out, but I'd love to see more of this idea.

I didn't actually notice the shield mechanic until I was reading through the comments here. Regardless, the raw thrill of piloting an orange at mach speeds alone makes this game a good time, I think. Gliding along curves is satisfying beyond words; you can't mass-produce that kind of enjoyment in a factory.

It's clear a lot of good work was put into the controls and mechanics of this. It kind of reminded me of Kirby Canvas Curse, without the drawing of course. I agree with the others that some more levels and obstacles would really make this great. You have the guts of a great game. Nice job.

Ah, pink juice? I see you're also a fan of cara cara navel oranges ;)

This is a whacky concept. I live for jam games like this. Congrats for making such an odd and neat little game for the compo!

I don't think I quite understood the controls. I saw the arrows and read a few comments, but I kept crashing at the first and sixth (end of the narrow straight) and couldn't finish a lap or see more content. More clear instruction would have helped a lot. The little sprite art is fantastic.

Keep making games!

I had a lot of fun playing and found the game to be quite humorous. That said, I'm not quite sure what the connection to the theme "Delay the Inevitable" is.

I liked the movement that you made, I was just a little unclear as to what caused your orange to explode sometimes. I think with some more clarity/some kind of tutorial it would be great, it feels like you have a good base to a game.

Fun and silly game! Could be really interesting with some tighter controls and more complex maps.

Fun game! And quite hard (or I am just bad at it) :) Good job!

Couldn't see the connection to the theme but I liked the graphics and gameplay, wish there was a bit more variety and sound effects though. Overall, decent entry, good job :)
