Asteroid by DevParty

Oh no! It seems that there is a massive asteroid heading directly towards earth!

You have been tasked with stopping the asteroid, but, what can just one man do? Well, it doesn't really matter because if you mess up its not really your problem anymore, but it would be kind of cool to stop it anyway.

Well, without further ado, click that link and good luck to you!

If you want to see the dev process, I will have a video up on my YT at some point. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCshHelWiBQXxykVDR0MBXKg

Great game! I really love how the music speeds up as the asteroid gets closed. Perhaps this is something I should have implemented in my game as well

Graphics are also quite nice and the overall game feel is definitely there. The only piece of feedback I have is to add an option to revisit the tutorial, as I pretty much forgot how to the play the game immediately and had to go into incognito mode to watch it again.

Overall, good job! I had fun playing the game :D

Nice game. I didn't figure out if the upgrades work, so I think I played without them. For these games I always like a score screen to compare my progress across attempts

Thanks for the upload

The music elevates this a lot. Made me feel pretty chill at first and then the tension built nicely. Good job :)

You can actually win, which doesn't really make it "inevitable" :) . Got really intense at the end. Simple game with some added depth with upgrades and placeable towers.

Great little game! The music really set the mood for the game and after getting a hang of the gameplay it was a fun experience! Ended up playing it for a while and winning. Very satisfying game and overall great work!

I like it! As others have said, the music really elevates the gameplay. Liked the slow-moving asteroid and how the flame effects were created as well.

I came back to this one randomly. I did not realize you could move. Then I read a comment about a tutorial, so I rewatched it, and didn't realize you could upgrade either. So I was trying to win without upgrades and without moving, and thought the game was just impossible. Still took me a few tries, and took me a bit to figure out what button bought upgrades / how to buy upgrades, but I had way more fun with the game with those two things haha. Nice work!
