And yea collisions are working strange, maybe tower top and bottom can be in other layers in unity, this way you'll be able to shoot through the upper part.
Glad to hear you peeps enjoy the bullet hell mixed with pixels experience. If we continue to get this type of attention we will definitely give the game the attention it deserves in the near future ^^
We are very much aware of the collisions working in a strange way. I very much should have taken the time to setup the altars to use more unique collision layers. In any future update this will definetly be improved upon ^^
Nicely done!
Pros:
- Great art, love dem Chicken
- Easy to understand mechanic
- Good game feel
- Hey! There are sound effects and music!
- Bullet hells are kind of a second name behind inevitable suffering
- Animations on point
Cons:
- I'm just terrible at those kind of games
- Latest Chrome version -> Encountered super FPS drops and stuttering after big spawn happened*
*: I believe that looks like a problem with your spawning system. If I understand correctly, you're essentially instatianting every bullet as game object, right? You guys should try using particle effects instead as they're more efficient for that sort of use, and you can make millions of them.
A great effort nontheless. Keep up the good work guys!
