Nice game! Has a full game loop and is easy to get back into once defeated. Followed the theme of delaying the inevitable (destruction of earth). Simplistic, but impressive AI position prediction and some cool swing mechanics. Would be nice if the audio kept going instead of starting over, but it's an entertaining enough tune! Love the old school art style and the intro cutscenes set up the game nicely!

I really liked the lead up story. Game was fun, although it seemed fairly endless once I got the hang of it, which I guess was the point, to stall for humanity. Somehow making it more difficult would make it more fun. Also I noticed the shuttlecock seemed to be mostly upside down, the pointed end wasn't coming down when it was travelling on the downward trajectory, so that could be improved. Cool game though, nice job.

:small_blue_diamond: Pretty fun and complete game!

My record was 33.

Can the Zok miss the shuttle, or is their hatred for dogs so strong that they play perfectly?

Love the game! The art was great, and I really liked the music and the backstory for trying to keep the rally going. I also had fun making lots of light hits to rack up the rally counter (although some might say this is cheating!). Awesome Entry.

Nice game! Was hoping there was some super secret attack you could do by charging up over your meter, or that there was something you'd get for going over 100 =). Gameplay got a little long but that banger of a song kept me really invested! Good job!

Love the music and sound effects! Very cool retro feel. I quite liked playing badminton with an alien. The little phrases he shouts out were a fun touch too.

The music was an awesome choice.
A very interesting concept, loved the story although the game got a bit repetitive after a bit as if you are decent enough you'll never loose

Nice game. The story was fun. But it became endless once I had played it for 5-7 times. Increasing the difficulty will make it more challenging. Also, the enemies don't ever miss! Making them miss would make it fun too. Good job!

I really liked it! The only critic is that it becomes a bit repetitive after a while, and tapping to hit the nuke very lightly several times is a better strategy than charging your bar in place to make it go really high. The story at the beginning was really neat!

A decent time, managed to play a very intense game with our alien overlord. He lost, but he still conquered our race.

Anyway, great job!

Thanks for providing a linux build. The game worked great. The power bar could even get way higher then intended.

The Amulet game engine is something I never heard about, but you guys seem to have something cool with it. Great job.

Nice little game, made me smile as someone else said. Felt a little thin in gameplay, but the level of difficulty was good. Might have been nice to have a different move or something? And it did feel some what pointless to not be able to beat the opponent! haha but I guess that's the point. Nice job!

Really love the work on the intro and the music loop is simple but cool! Gameplay works really well, but the UI could use a little more polish: the "power" bar can be bigger than its container. Another thing to improve the game could be to add more variation in the AI moves.

Your game is so fun, even if it reminded me I can't even be athletic in video games. I ended up playing several rounds. I highly enjoyed the alien trash talk. The name was also amusing.

Fun little game! Took me a while to realize it's just badminton (didn't pay enough attention to the game's title, I guess...). It didn't seem to be possible to beat the alien, though this seems to be the idea, right? :) Managed to get a score of about 20 at max. Nice entry, good job!

I liked the intro :) I wish we will have the time and resources to include a story as well next time.

If the game was available in full screen mode, it would have helped recognizing everything better.

The longer I think about it the more awful I feel about myself because I played it for SO LONG. I love the gameplay even though it's so simplistic. It just reminds me of my childhood with all these similiar flash games.
The art and story was also great.

Pretty neat. I liked the retro look (and sound) to it. At first I thought the game would be impossible to win because the opponent seems to always be where it needed to be but then I remembered the theme and it made sense.

The mechanics are great! Love the old vibe art style. Great game! As a beginner, I am very inspired by how people make such games in just a few days

I liked the Intro that give a bit of context. Unfortunately it didn't help me stick with the gameplay. The bar neither increases your shot's strength nor is there a limit anyway, so why not just leave it out anyway? It's Pong with an extra buttom prompt. A leadboard would have kept me going. I think I had ~40.

Fun little game. I really like the idea of having to play in such a way that the opponent doesn't lose either that was given my the premise but that didn't really seem too relevant to actually playing this game (and I'm not really sure how exactly that would work in an interesting way in the first place). The story premise is cool in and of itself too and the gameplay is generally well done. Good job!
