Great job! The visuals are stunning. I really enjoyed all the layers in the background and how each scene had a different theme.

The platform drawing mechanic was a lot of fun to play with as well, although I couldn't figure out where I was supposed to take it. Maybe there could be a hint in-game?

Congrats on completing an awesome jam entry!

@joe-cowman @kali-mccord Thanks a lot, it's good to read that at the wake-up ! And it was actually so fun to make this!

Also I figure out we had a bug on the deploy and you probably tested a very old version, my bad, sorry! I losted my mind somewhere between 1am & 3am :yum: :gun: !

Dont hesitate to try it again, it should be very challenging normaly even with the drawing function! :)

This game looks and sounds amazing, but I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do, it kind of felt like every level just ended and I fell off the end. At one point there was a level that sloped downwards so I got reset before landing on a platform which didn't feel great. I loved the animation and visual layering and thought the music choice complemented it very well.

What a gorgeous game! I have a question: sometimes I'd just randomly... die? turn into a lil green swirl? Am I not allowed to fall very far? I kept drawing myself sweet ramps to launch off of but then it killed me (even though I didn't fall off the screen). Anyway, really beautiful and it feels so well-polished.

Ok I think I am too stupid for the puzzle.
The crazy music and the artwork fit well together and are really good.
I also like the idea of drawing very well - even if I did not know what I'm doing.

Well done! Nice idea und nice game!

Those are some very slippery controls hahaha. I couldn't beat it either, sadly. But art, visual effects and audio were all super nice!
Great job!

Incredible graphics! Nice color pallet. The levels were too short, but the visuals made every jump feel amazing!

I love the graphics, it took me a while to get used to the controls using W to jump, but I figured it out and it was very fun

Visuals are amazing! Was a bit hard to me to keep up with how fast the character moves, but loved stopping time and drawing the new lines, the animations when stopping time was definitely my favourite visual part of the game! Sadly it because more of a game where you play until you're bored, so for the future maybe add something that changes the gameplay throughout the game would be nice. Nice job making this for the Jam though, polished!

the visuals and the audio made for this to be a really interesting entry! i wasn't sure if there was some sort of objective at hand but i had fun playing around with the platform drawing tool, good job!

Thanks for the reviews guys!

HOTFIX: a bug was making the player start at the last level, i push an hotfixs, dont hesitate to play the whole game and discover the story ! :)

@kristinamay : There is a maximum height of falling allowed, so i think thats what happened to you!

OH BOY. You have an incredible concept here. I absolutely love the idea of a platformer where you paint your own platforms, incredibly satisfying to do. Graphics and sound are incredible as well, the background city is gorgeous. I think if you polish this further you have the makings of an incredibly innovative platformer here.

Criticisms/post-jam polish wishlist:
- Giant boulders falling from above are too hard to dodge (at east without 'pausing' using Space every second, but then the platformer section doesn't flow very well), I suggest either getting rid of them or zooming out so they're easier to see coming
- Currently, music stops when you hit space to paint, which is a shame and a bit jarring. I suggest making the music muffled or something instead
- It took me a bit to get used to Space being something other than jump, oops... Maybe an alternate keymapping?
- Add collectibles (perhaps that you get snippets of story with) so you have something to do while trying to avoid death. At one point I finally learned how to survive but I let myself die so I could move on with the plot
- Bug: Sometimes the paintbrush would stop responding until I reloaded the browser window

Great job again!

I LOVE the concept and graphics of this game - I didnt get really far because for me the camera view zooming in and out was a bit confusing when you pause the world - am I not supposed to pause? Maybe some tutorial would be useful but really beautiful.

I had to give this game a try. The first play through I was confused and seemingly won without doing much of anything. But the second time... once I understood the mechanics. I found I could run pretty much forever by drawing extremely squiggly lines at the start of my platform then stretching out a flat area. Once the flat area started to break, or if I got to the edge of it "It's squiggly line time again!"

I love the look and feel of this game.

That was a surprisingly fun experience, interesting take on the concept that has what I believe is the right level of difficulty! The graphics and the music are cool and very fitting and I loved the evolving environment. Once I didn't have any more "main road" I knew I had to stay on my toes to stay alive as long as I could. The narrative element was interesting as well and I think it really sets the mood for "delay the inevitable".

Woah this game is great! The visuals were really amazing! I enjoyed the gameplay too, even if I'm really bad at it. I did get a bit sad because I would only live 1 second and the level would change, so there are many levels I wish I got to see more of. Thank you for sharing your game!

By far the best/most original graphics I have seen this year! The game play feels very solid and even my old computer can run this game buttersmooth! The music effects are outstanding too! I don't have any points that could have been diffrent, well done.
