Devil's Thoughts by ponk

[raw]
made by ponk for LD33 (JAM)
Move bubbles with your mouse to spread darkness into people's mind
People can enlighten you !

And... That's it, no real objective, no game over, no score... !
(And no story, no level design, no sound, no nothing...)

Ho ! Another unfinished game ? Yeah !
I did not find a lot of time last week-end to work on this project,
and I am at the office Monday, so... I will not deliver on time... !

But working on this was fun, I hope you will enjoy playing with the boids engine

Sorry for not finishing, but damn ! It's hard !

I dig the concept here. Your mechanics are actually really fun! "Unfinished" if you say so, but I like the submission.

It's a really interesting toy! I hope you do a post-competition version and make it into a game!

Unfinished yet interesting, those "thought corruption" mechanics could easily be applied to narrative-based games. awesome

Very interesting concept. I agree with everyone, you should give a thought as to how you might be able to expand it further outside of the jam.

The mechanics and idea are awesome. Wish I could have seen the finished product. But still, good work!

This is a really interesting idea. I'm not sure I understand the mechanics here but this concept should be further developed. Also, the drawing suits the idea really well.

A good concept that was well executed even in an unfinished state.

Good prototype! Loved the background image and the theme, and the mechanic is well executed. Physics is top notch. What is phenomenal is the fact that it's one of the most memorables entries I've played so far and that, without any sound, story or objective... I'm impressed. Great entry overall !

Not going to lie I thought for a second that the white ones were white blood cells and you were a virus. Anyway it plays well and the concept is there, but I would have liked something more to do. But That's just me. Good job!

Currently the game is a bit on the boring side. The underling concept really makes this. Keep at it, the post jam version is already a lot more fun. Would steal letters again

Very original idea! The engine feels really smooth and satisfying, art works too; style juxtaposition of the boids with the background art works too, really brings out the character of the people (and animals) without distracting from the engine. Quite glad you submitted this; wouldn't take much more to make it a complete game, and I really dig outside-the-box entries like this one.
