It was fun to play, and had a good amount of challenge, but some of the physics seemed off at times. Sometimes jumping would fail if I was touching a wall and enemies would become immune to my shots if they jumped on top of me from a higher platform, effectively cornering and killing me much quicker. Aside from that, it is a pretty good game!

Hello There,

I loved the graphics in this game and the title screen art was beautiful! The little upgrades through out the map were nice as well. The music had very high energy as well which made it go nicely with the theme. The multiple enemy designs were great as well.

Overall, the game play felt a little stale for me. I loved the mood and aesthetic but I felt like there is something missing that makes me want to keep playing.

Amazing work, thanks for letting me play your game :D

The graphics and music are pretty nice and the overall idea is fun but I feel like the controls were kinda forgotten about.

Still a great game though <3

Mother of god that "Game Over" sound scared the CRAP outta me :fearful: It's SO much louder than everything else in the game!

Other than that, though, I felt the game was quite fun! The level was a lot more sprawling than I originally thought it was going to be, and it was pretty fun to traverse as well. Nice job on this!

Really cute and fun game, there's two things I'd suggest I think have a hit sound would help with telling when the player gets hurt, and two I found that sometimes I could get caught when jumping against walls so if you were able to fix that I think that I would make it even better then it already is which is great!

I played this on Pop!_OS 20.04 (based on Ubuntu) and Proton 5.13-6 worked well.

The scale of the level and depth of good art is amazing! The world was way bigger than I expected. It was a lot of fun trying it out. The world feels much more expansive than a typical jam game!

Some stuff that could help improve for future versions:
* Jumping felt kinda weird, especially for the platforms you can jump through from the bottom. Sometimes you'll sort of float up a staircase by pressing space, while others you can't jump next to a wall
* The enemies getting dropped on your head without warning is not a fun way to lose!
* I'm not really sure what the item collection did (other than some immediate stat bonuses). Is there something special if you collect all of them?

Overall great entry!

:) Very fun game! Nice pixel art! Solid gameplay mechanics! The pacing and difficulty was good, and the character was very fun to control. The music is very Mega Man. I think it could have used a few more sound effects.
