This game is a scrolling shoot’em up/plane dressup game with a twist. As your ship is old, barely designed for combat and extremely unstable, your parts will fall off after a while. Thankfully, you can replace them by salvaging new parts from the enemies you destroy! But how well will you manage to do that in the heat of combat?!

Be sure to think about how you build yourself up as unbalanced weight will make movement harder. Having guns on every side may make killing enemies a cakewalk, but comes at the sacrifice of extra speed. In this game you constantly have to make decisions and deal with what you’ve been given!

In addition to providing mobility and offensive capabilities, extra parts will also take hits for you. This is important as your core is quite vulnerable. Three hits and you're out!
And some parts ...just look pretty. Dress your plane up for multiplied score!

My only current critique is that attaching parts to the ship felt a bit weird some times, with pieces not attaching when they should or attaching in the wrong places. Other than that, super solid entry!
Also great job with the visuals, that river-ish animated background works perfectly with the retro style.
I'd love to see this expanded!
It was a bit hard to get certain parts attached (Specifically wings for me), and it felt a bit awkward trying to attach them while moving. Maybe having a "build" period in between waves could have helped out both issues. Enemies at the beginning felt like they had a bit too much health too, but that's a pretty minor nitpick.
Overall, with some polish I could see this being a turning into a pretty fun full game
I just wish there was some more time to relax and build your ship - the way it is, it's quite stressful, and in the end I kept dying despite having numerous parts, mostly because one of them (the flat gray one with 2 red lines I think) required such precision to place that I was unable to do so at all, and I also couldn't drop it. Maybe I misunderstood how to use it, but in one session it took me ~15 seconds and like 50 clicks to place it, and in two others it just ended my round as I wasn't able to add anything to my ship. Let me know if I've doing something wrong. :D Seemed to me that I had to hit the exact right pixel, which was seemingly impossible while the ship was shaking and moving around. Otherwise great entry, maybe I'll have another try on another day and see if I can get further.
also, to drop parts pressing the R key should work
