A nice shorter entry I'd say. Despite it being short, it got me interested to see what exactly the rest of the story was with the bit of intriguing info I got out of it, as well as the whole thing with Mika being in the main character's head. Good job!

Sad it was that short but I really like the idea of using the dog's balloon to help you to move. At first I through it was the only way to move (and not "just" to move obstacles) ^^.

Very nice writing! Right from the start it gave me the feeling that something was really off and now I want to now more. Great first entry! I think you might have a pretty solid concept at hand here. Maybe you want to turn this into a full game some time?

I really loved the atmosphere and storytelling. Good writing and pacing, the dream phase with the dog works quite well too. It left me wanting more which is a good thing for an unfinished project !

I enjoyed the art-style and the created atmosphere, although it's a bit short of course. Congratulations to your first entry! :confetti_ball:

Nice start of a story! I really like the mechanic idea with Mika and the ball, smart way to play two characters at once. Sad that there is no way to give bonus points in the ratings for doggo :dog:

The initial title screen had be confused, I thought the game was stuck until I tried hitting the space bar and got into the actual game. Maybe some hints about the controls would be helpful? But the visuals are really nice! Keep it up!

Loved it! It gave me some mysterious vibes, now i want to know how the story goes on.
In the Boys Dream you choose a nice calm music, wich is a very nice switch and fits very good in my opinion.

Even if it's not a full game, it's still a solid jam entry! The graphics and audio, though few, are fitting for the game's mood and looks (and sounds) good. The story is captivating despite it being incomplete, and there's a lot of potential mechanics related to Mika that can be explored. The ball-throwing seems like it could be one of many possible actions that you can do to clear the game's obstacles. It'd be great to see more of it (post-jam build, maybe?) as the story is quite interesting already!

I really like the idea of others using dreams to escape reality. I wonder if you guys were inspired by the game Omori? Well done and I almost didn't submit mine at the deadline so I really get the struggle 🤣 mine only has one super quick level

I feel like you should remove humor as a rating because this isn't funny, it's kind of sad if I can tell what's going on. I didn't manage to finish mine either, but that's part of the process, right? Learning and growing, and getting better each time you enter a jam.

Great use of art and audio, would like to see the concept explore in more levels. I recommend making the ball fall in straight line from your direction, to enhance the control of the player, or mess with it depending on the mood.

Good work!
