⚫⚫⚫ UNSTABLE TRUTH OR DARE ⚫⚫⚫

A truth or dare game.

Draw a random card to play Truth/Dare.

Mostly, playing a Dare Card will spawn your nightmares to the reality(Right screen) in a certain pattern. Touching them will make you lose your sanity. You need to dodge them as fast as possible. Memorizing the nightmare pattern of each card can help a lot as well.

Playing a truth card often adds a pressure tile into your insecurity(Left screen). The tile will activate the dare effect of the original card if it falls.

Once the tiles reach a certain height, you will overcome your insecurity and destroy all the pressure tiles inside. But be careful when stacking them, you wouldn't like it when many of them fall at the same.

Some cards has special effects that will cause you some REAL serious troubles. Watch out.

Draw as many cards as possible and keep yourself from losing mind.

What an original and atmospheric game. I really like the creepines that you managed to invoke. The music fitted it well but was not overwhelming and the animations were smooth. I'd say that the movement felt a little bit off/floaty. I didn't understand if there is any reason to play the dare card. The game could benefit from some feedback when picking up a card. The floor hands felt unfair because there was no indication where they will come out. The life indicator (at 2 lives) looked like the infinity symbol so I thought (for a short duration) that it is still some kind of tutorial.

This was very fun. I played it quite a few times. Its a very interesting concept balancing almost tetris with a almost platforming aspect :joy:
Great work! :D the music was beautifully matched too!

What an interesting concept! After a while a figured out that (at least for me) it's pretty much impossible to stack your blocks high enough for them to disappear because the platform shacking will inevitably destroy things. Thus, the best strategy that I found was just queueing up as many blocks as possible, ignore the block section and trying to dodge whatever comes up. I managed to get a score of 69 (nice) that way. That was probably not the intended way to play though... The music and graphics were very atmospheric and just good in general.

Like I said, the concept is super interesting. With the different aspect being balanced better, this could be really cool. Even using my strategy that ignored half of the game was already fun.

Great job!

I liked it, especially the animation of the character, and the mood overall.

It was a very unique idea but I didn't really see a reason to ever choose truth. It feels like it's a lot easier to fail that minigame than it is to fail dares. I was able to get to a point where I could do 2 or 3 dares at once, and it gave me just as many points as truth, so I was able to rack up plenty of points by just doing dares really quickly.

The game needs some balancing, and some reasons why I should use both mechanics, some sort of balancing middleman-minigame. That could also feed into the unstable theme perhaps.

Overall, a neat little concept for a game! :)

This was a neat little game combining two genres, the music fit the mood very well and the graphics were nice (I really like the lighting effect on the character)The truth or dare had a nice spin to it, I love the creativity in this game. Great job!

Great game! I had a really good time. I like the two different mechanics you need to take care for, but at the same time it is not too hard. Also, I like the music and the controls feels nice. I think some of the Dare waves could have been harder, and the effects, like slippery floor, should not go away until player go for another Dare card, and finish it (otherwise the player can just wait until the effect is gone). Besides that, good job with the game!

Nice Tetris-Bullet-hell-Card-game hybrid! Once I learned that patterns, I found the bullet-hell dares really easy (although some people wouldn't), and I managed to get to a score of 94 without doing any truths. Most of my hit came from the "Buy 1 get 1 free!" cards, which were definitely harder, but not impossible. I didn't really see any point in using truths at all, but apart from that, great game!

This was really cool, definitely a concept that I have never seen before. I think the truth pile on the left was a little too forgiving, I think a narrower platform would be a nice tweak to the difficulty.

Love how you combined Tetris and Bullet Hell together! Took me a while to realize what was going on but once I did I was super impressed! One issue I had is that if one of the pressure tiles at the lower levels tilts, then whatever you stack on top of that afterwards will just roll off the edge. But I guess that's just a part of the challenge! Great work nonetheless!

Really love the graphics, especially the 3D and 2D combination and the overall atmosphere worked really well.
