Unstable Bathroom by Exilon

[raw]
made by Exilon for Ludum Dare 49 (JAM)

The best game you will ever play. Play as a cheese trying to save an unstable bathroom. My first ever submission for my first ever game jam. Ludum dare 49.

The objectives UI got bugged and didn't save so here is How to play:

  1. Use the hammer on the safe at the very right
  2. Use the hammer on the panel at the top left
  3. Use the hammer on the toilet to win.

There where no indicators for where you are because I ran out of time. I'm sorry about that.

Little side note: Understandably, This game is underdeveloped (But still the best game you will ever play). Between all the things that I had to do in real life and school and all, I only had about 10 - 12 hours to make this game.

The music and post process are cool, they create a deep atmosphere. The character speed increase too much, so it becomes uncontrolable. Bubble effects are nice too.

Overall, good work (specialy with not many hours of work  )

Returned as promised :D
The pixel art is super nice, really love the cheese face!
The post process looks super neat! Love that you've added the particle effects in the green sludge. Really nice that you've added music too, good chords in the intro.
Taking in consideration that you had school & homework and yet you did this entry you did really good job.
Some things that I'd like to tell you where you could improve:
- The character is not responsive, after I press the key it stays a bit before it starts moving, you should try to see how to improve on that, I really like that you used acceleration when it moves, it feel good, but it feels like it's ignoring my input for a split second.
- You could add bubbling particles right on the surface of the green sludge, see how that looks.

Sadly the protagonists feet are very slippery, but graphically the game looks lovely!

Love the feeeback from everyone! A common thing I see here is the characters movment is a little odd. This of course being my first player movment system is going to be faulty but thanks to the feedback, i have a good reference for one next time. Thanks guys!
