You've been sent on a mission to harvest the resources of a faraway solar system. Use your laser beam to mine asteroids and planets, and refuel as necessary by draining energy from the sun. But be careful, for if you drain the sun too much, it will become unstable and collapse into a black hole!

Controls: - WASD/Arrow keys to move - Left click to shoot your laser beam - Spacebar to toggle the minimap on/off - Esc to pause the game

The assets look really clean, I love the look of the game. Although I couldn't really grasp on the strategies other than be slow and conservative.

Maybe it is missing some incentive like a time limit or a shop for you to spend your points for upgrades.

Fun relaxing space game, until your fuel runs out that is.
I liked it.

Enjoyed it - I like the feel of the smooth movement of the ship and visuals looked really good.

@tsfreddie Yeah, I was actually planning on having upgrades or powerups you could pick before starting, and also adding enemies that guard the planets, but I didn't have enough time.

Really nice game feel! The ship felt very good to pilot and fire the laser from, and the visuals were clean and understandable. Like you mention, having enemies might give an added sense of resistance and urgency, but as far as the way the game plays, I think this game is really solid.

Great game! Seemed a little bit hard at the start because of the controls, but once you get used to it, it is pretty fun. Really liked visuals and the sounds.

Nice one! It's a simple concept, but I like the mechanics and nothing felt overly unfinished. Could perhaps use a little more sound and some more particle effects and such for polish, but good stuff nevertheless. Loved the black hole effect!

Mac build isn't working for me (Catalina). Will try on my PC later.

Nice one.

Asteroids and planets could use some orbital motion.
Maybe the mining beam could unsettle them too, keeping the player on their toes.

I expected there would be a next level after warping away, for a few more bites.

The game looks polished enough, that's a big one for me.

I like it! Good use of the theme, and I think this idea could be expanded on. The risk/reward aspect is interesting and I think could be leaned into if you work more on this after the jam.

A good deal of polish and appropriate music choices - the effects with the sun and black hole are really nice.

Maybe I was just unlucky but I went looking and I couldn't find any planets :/

Simple concept but clean execution. Movement felt pretty good and the laser was satisfying to use. I liked the glow around it. Would have been nice if there was a bit more replay incentive beyond just "get a better score" such as exploring more interesting formations, but it's not bad as-is. Overall a pretty solid entry.

I agree with most of the other comments here. The game is in a great state, very clean and polished, and works perfectly. Just feels like something is missing. Some kind of time pressure I think. Either way I had a lot of fun, thanks for making this!
