You regret the day you moved to this wrecked place. There is a hole in the ceiling. An eccentric neighbour is raving upstairs and a shower of bricks is surely coming your way. Lovely. Just don't forget - "when life gives you bricks make a tower!"

Controls

  • Mouse wheel - hover around

  • Mouse button left - pick and place objects

  • Q - rotate horisontal left

  • E - rotate horisontal right

  • Z - rotate vertical sideways

  • X - rotate vertical overhead

  • R - rewind time

  • Del / backspace - restart

  • Esc - quit

Would be great if you had a clear goal like get to a certain height or something. Then there would be a second level with different types of bricks and goal height. Still a great jam game!

When I started moving bricks, the dialogue played in a broken way, starting and stopping and restarting and slurring and it's the first time I laughed like that in probably a year. The game is passingly fun but you (accidentally?) made my day.

Not sure if I missed something but whenever I released my mouse (web version), the controls menu would pop up and I'd have to close it. Otherwise, great concept, graphics are on point, dialogue is excellent and fits in very well with the theme haha.

I enjoyed it, felt like it was quite punishing. But I really dug the whole look of the game, felt like it could be fleshed out a bit more, maybe levels with different kinds of bricks to stack. Some issues with Dialog too. Nice game though!

visuals and audio design is really good. for me there are 2 problems

- 1 is controls button is too big on screen and it is preventing from picking up things.

- 2 is the goal should ve been clearer..

other then that i loved it. the controls are really intuitive too

I love the idea of it. Very funny. Considering I spent all lockdown with builders on either side of me, this felt pretty apt. Found the downloadable version, so much better to play then the in-browser. Great sound effects. Why we are in a hole in a ground to start with, I'll never know. Reminded me of a old british song called Right Said Fred, with Bernard Cribbins. ​

Beautiful visuals. Not sure if there's a goal to reach? If there is, I didn't reach it. That would've been cool.

Really clean toy ! Graphics and controls are simple but it works perfectly with this game.
Also, I guess it's because of the isometric camera, but at first I was placing my blocks on the back thinking I was building a tower but there was just on the ground side by side XD

I liked the graphics and the voice overs - I thought that the game was a little annoying to play, and that the controls were awkward. Overall, though, nice work! :)
