ESCAPE FROM AREA 49 (The Spiritual Successor to Pedal Power) by BarelyEvenGames
Here's my remake of Pedal Power, but with a new coat of paint and some (hopefully) fun mechanics that (also hopefully) won't get me in a lawsuit like Nintendo got.
You can play the web built on Opera GX, sadly GMS2 really pooped the bed with their keyboard support for HTML so my typing code just flat out won't work. And rather than redo the whole system, I'm just going to call it a night and upload windows and GX
Everything in the game is made by me. Most everything was made in the jam period, though I finished the spooky music for a different project a few days before the jam.

Well, good to know that I'm trash at 10 key. You definitely improved on the formula here! It came together very nicely, it seems quite well polished in terms of art, music, sfx, and transitions. :smile: I can't say that I find typing games all that fun, but you did the hell out of it, well done. 10/10 would type 666 to vroom again

This was a fun one! I don't have a 10 key but still managed a 26 score :) Great little concept, audio and graphics were right in line with the game.

At first I tried using my numpad and it didn't work quite right, but then I quickly realized I could use my regular number keys. I screamed out loud when the enemy following was getting close to me, hahah. Very neat game! 🙂
