Back Alley E.R. by Xeke-Death
Back Alley E.R.
A back alley E.R. has pulled you off the street to help deal with all the people suddenly being sent to their illustrious establishment. Learn how to care for them patients on the job so Kyle from HR doesn't yell at you.
Read the patient information, connect the vitals monitors to the patient, administer medication to try and stabilize the patients before sending them to other parts of the hospital for observation and further care
Different tools and treatments use different areas of the body. Refresh a syringe after use by putting it back on the tray.
Completely mouse controlled except for the ESC to exit at any time. No volume controls, but hopefully it's not too loud.
Known bug: Sometimes the toe tags become unusable. Just send the patient away and they will reset.

@leyamez A little more instruction would be good, but I didn't have the time to add it in. Maybe I'll put it in the description.
@classicdillster They were originally called "BP Up" and "BP Down" for Blood Pressure, but a comment was made that it sounded like "beepy", so I renamed them. Then the same person that made the comment kept thinking they were for Heart Rate and killed many patients. This amused me so I kept the names to cause the confusion.
@malcolm The music was supposed to loop but I think I distracted Kyle when I asked for the voice lines.

I'm sure I can still help him. Nurse!!! Nuuuurse!
So I restarted the game :). I liked the graphics (the design of the whole space is very nice) and the music, even though in a short loop, was just fine and didn't get tiring. The game plays alright and keeps interest for a while. It gets repetitive after a time, but that's the nature of such games. Would be cool if some additional complications could arise during the treatment (e.g. suddenly a creepy hospital clown comes in ;)), as there is a lot of downtime between applying treatments, especially if the patient has only one problem.
I loved the bits of humor on my patient's admission cards, and Kyle from HR is a scary dude.
The web build didn't work well for me. It was sluggish and actually hanged my whole PC at one time (I'm on Firefox, if that matters). Downloadable worked just fine.
It definitely made me laugh quite a bit. It's a really solid base and I feel like if you could expand this with a few tutorial levels easing players into the different tools, I'd be playing this for quite a while.
Really impressive where you got with this in the limited time given in the jam too!

The voices are a nice touch. Mechanics seem solid.
Nice work!
