We're Going Nuclear! by Ryan Winstead
Congratulations on your new job as nuclear controls engineer! You start tonight on the skeleton crew.
It's your job to keep the nuclear power plant up and running. Unfortunately, this plant has a .... reputation for being unstable. Critical systems break, hackers takeover the mainframe, temperature spikes. The works.
Can you keep the electricity flowing while avoiding a nuclear meltdown? Can you even manage to survive the night? Find out in We're Going Nuclear!
Developer Notes:
Fullscreen is recommended since terminal text can appear small on some screens.
This game dramatizes the instability of nuclear power plants for gameplay purposes. However, we believe that nuclear energy is safe and effective and is an important part of a diverse energy system!

The depth to it and the atmosphere is fantastic - i could play this for quite a while.
I love the humor too :D
Perhaps i'm just bad at it, but the game was quite difficult. A lot of problems crept up very fast, and it seems to have a bit of a learning curve... at least, it was difficult to deal with everything as soon as there were problems.
Is there a victory point, or is it just go until i eventually lose?
There are a couple of areas to juice things up - like when i am dragging things it'd be nice if it auto-snapped to where it should be. When the game is about balancing a ton of thigns at once, i don't want to be sitting there precisely trying to get a vial into an area.
Same thing with the typing game - it took so long to type i felt like i had to stop playing the fun part of the game just to not lose the game... I do like the mini games, i think they could just be a little kinder.
All the same, this was really fun. Really really fantastic tutorial, and very good game play.
Well done :)
Liked the game. Would have love more feedback when the systems are starting to crash. Overall great entry!
It was a little bit tedious to navigate to each rooms with the endless corridors, my head rolled quite a few times with a bloackout.
I really like the jokes and was amazed that the logins change in every game. Really nice entry !
description, to that fullscreen is "needed" rather than "recommended", because at least in my case, the keyboard input worked only in fullscreen.
One thing that I would change is making the character sprite move a bit faster between the rooms (the red circle that travels). Not too fast, because a bit of a break helps, but maybe a tiny bit faster. After all, there is a potential nuclear explosion looming over the power plant :)
If you went with a art style like Papers Please and set this game in a soviet era country, it would be even better!
Very nicely done!
