Roboturai by Be3n2
Scenario
You created a sword weilding robot to enter into a battle bots style event. Face off against a much more stable axe weilding robot and try to stay on your feet as you swing your heavy sword around.

To play visit dropbox, download the LD49 zip folder, unzip the folder and run the LD49.exe! The rest of the files with the exe are required to run it.
Background
I'm a programmer at heart and this is the first game I made with c++ and OpenGL (without an engine!), and I did my best to create the graphics and the music. I'm happy to be back to Ludum dare after a 4 year break and can't wait to play all your games, thanks for coming to mine! To find out more information about what I used to make the game visit the github readme.

Outside of this nice concept.
Presumably the Q spamming was to create the frantic feeling of a struggle, which I get. Agree with others thought that it was a bit much, there may be other ways to produce that emotion.
Overall, cool system that has potential. Thanks for making it!
I think the Q spamming is fine, but an indicator, like a bar feeling up, could've helped with that.
Nice to see an irrklang submission!
been tempted to do that again myself last few LD's, just to see if I could still do that
