I Know You Are, But What Am I? by bonnup

--------------------
Personal Note:
--------------------
I don't usually finish the programming projects I start. LD33 followed suit. I am happy with what I did finish though.

I didn't exactly complete the "Math-y" part of the game. That means the challenge in every level is the same lol. I hope you'll stay for the narrative though!

--------------------
Controls:
--------------------
Move Cursor - mouse
Push Buttons - left mouse button
Toggle Values - left mouse button
Reverse Toggle Values - hold shift and click left mouse button
Scroll Through Dialogue faster - (hold)left mouse button on dialogue
Reset Level - R

--------------------
System Requirements:
--------------------
The game requires .NET 4 and XNA 4 to be installed and is Windows only (tested with Windows 7).

If not installed, the game crashes on start!

Neat idea, but waaaaaay too much clicking. I would very much have liked to see it with more mathy stuff implemented.

Fascinating... but so difficult to get a hang of

needed a better control system, but a good idea

Love the concept but way too much clicking. Maybe holding the mouse button to keep going would help on that. Mathy part would have definitely helped make this a lot more compelling.

Definitely need some better way to input the numbers besides mashing click. I'm sad you didn't get to "Math-y" part - it showed a lot of promise.

It crashed for me on the "you are not human" line and wouldn't do anything else. Otherwise a cool idea.

I appreciate the feedback! I will definitely be polishing this project up later.

Things I will change:
-Less Clicking (Maybe a keyboard option for value input)
-Animated Buttons
-More Math (Various and more challenging functions)
-Audio
-Various Bug Fixes (of course)
-Even Less Clicking!

As already said, the concept is nice but the control got in the way.

Interesting idea. Besides what has been said, I think it is difficult to follow the narrative because it scrolls by whilst I try to figure out what I can click.

Too bad it has no sounds and the math has gone awry. But if expanded upon, it has a great potential.

The learning curve is quite high, the theme kind of get lost due to the nature of your gameplay, still a good effort :)
