great game with great graphics. The lava rising really put tension when i was playing, good job! Only thing I would add is that it gets a bit repetitive after a while once you get good at it.

Frustrating yet fun! I just wish there was a leaderboard so I could show off my skillz

First thing I did was get immediately consumed by the lava. Second thing I did was launch myself at Mach 40 off my platform and into the lava. After that I got the hang of the movement controls. What a frantic game! It was a great time.

Tough game, took a bit to get the hang of the controls but once I got a feel for it things went good. Once you get into the flow of things it was a fun little experience. Great work!

You've done a really nice job of the shading and particle effects here. Took a second to get the hang of it but it's good fun!

Nice simple game that is easy to pick up and kind of addicting despite how simple it seems. I realized that you can just hold the jump button for a while and the character will go straight up for a great distance, and to me that seems like an exploit, but it's not a big deal.

I think you did a great job for a game jam, and here are just some suggestions if you wanted to continue development:
I think you could have benefited from adding more elements as time went on, like obstacles such as volcanic rocks coming down from the sky or platforms / orbs you are not supposed to touch. Maybe the platforms nearest to the lava increase in the number of orbs to incentivize you to risk it for more orbs? Maybe orbs give you upgrades, to really incentivize you to get more orbs. Maybe there are some orbs which are mandatory to get before they sink into the lava. You have a great foundation here, add a few elements and the game could be deep and addicting.

Your entry certainly rewards patience, after feeling like I got the hang of it, it felt incredible just moving and jumping around. You've done a great job of putting pressure on the player which makes for a good experience overall. Very fun and well made entry!

The start could be on a higher platform to give the player more space to understand the movement in my opinon.

The particle effect adds a lot to the atmosphere. Good game overall

Nice lighting and aesthetic. Some way to make the game more challenging as it progresses would be nice. For example, having more point collectibles as you progress. Maybe they aren't all over platforms, so you have to curve your jump to hit them?

It was really fun to get the hang of this game and it looks really good. I'm a fan of the particle effects. Nice work!

Nice idea! You could improve this just small adjustment. First you have to click with the mouse on start, then take back the keyboard quickly with too litte time to figure out where to go. Second you miss sometimes visibility to know where to jump. Nevertheless, thank you for your game

Really nice platformer! The graphics are simple but well done. The jump is huuuge -- fun to get a hold of.

Neat game! It could definitely have a bit more content though.

I liked the graphics, and the insane jump height is pretty neat. Nice work.

Simple and fun. I think the particle effects were a highlight. I wish there was more difficulty scaling as you get higher. Perhaps some more obstacles. Still enjoyed it either way.

The game gets a bit repetitive after a while but the jump is fun to master.

I'm really bad at platformer :p But I love them (^w^) Only went at a 31 high score, and one or two time the platform appeared just above the one I was standing on and I didn't manage to jump on it (t_t). But it was great (^w^). Good Job !

Pretty solid! The jump physics reminded me of Winter Bells for some reason. My only gripe is that the camera doesn't look far enough ahead (or above) - I once died because I couldn't see the next platform straight above me, so I slammed right into it and ended up dropping into the lava. ^_^;

Neat game! My only complaint is that the lava starts a bit too close to the player right after starting the game. It would be nice to give the player some room when they start. Otherwise, good job on the game!

The game starts a bit too quick in my opinion, also the characters acts a bit clunky at the side of the screen, but other than the graphics are great and the audio too, also that jump is so powerful, good job on the game jam!

Very nice game. I liked the embers look and its particle trail. The lava moved a bit too fast to notice the unstable platforms. But all in all a fun game!
