Great music and art! The abilities moving across the top of the screen were a bit confusing to me.

The music was great! Especially the in-game music. The level and the mod belt at the top were a little confusing, but the effects of the mods were pretty neat!

Cool game, definitely an interesting idea. The variety of effects you can get hit with are pretty fun. Although I didn't play through every level, the fact that you set up so many is pretty impressive. And the fact that you actually thought to add a settings menu is appreciated.

I will say, and this may be me missing something, but I did seem to die at what felt like random times. At one point I beat the boss of a level, immediately died and got the "You Lose" screen, then unlocked the next level anyway. Maybe there is a level timer or something I didn't know about? Or maybe I was getting hit with the "Hurt" effects and didn't realize it. Either way, it made it a bit tedious to try and get past the first few levels

Nice game. I found the first level a bit hard and never got past it. I got my character to level 3? I'm not exactly sure what that does. The effects bar thing at the top of the screen is a pretty cool idea but I wish it was more clear which effects where going to happen and when. Key take aways: 1) Needs a tutorial or better explanation of what is going on. 2) Make the game easier. Expect someone to play for 5 to 8 mins. Ramp the difficulty curve for this. Good work :)

Nice game! Really liked the effect bar at the top and each of them had an interesting effect on the gameplay. I did feel like I was randomly dying for an unknown reason a lot of the time, but maybe I missed something?

What just happened? I was holding my bullet shooting sword, then everything was spinning, then I was invisible, then a giant blue slime tried to kill me and I won! I would drunk this much again, nice game!

I had a really fun time playing it. I know the music is licensed but it's nice when it fits your gameplay well and lends to the atmosphere you're trying to convey.

Thanks for making it and sharing it with everyone here.

The game was pretty interesting. I did seem to die a random though. also a bit more indication of when you take damage would be good because there was a few times I did even realise I had taken damage.

Really cool take on the theme to have the modifications coming and going, it gives a great feeling of instability and keeps you on your toes! The game is also really polished, it feels like a fully complete project and taking the time to make proper menus is super impressive. Only thing I would change is to add a how to play screen which goes over the basic mechanics.
