Fun game! I really like the sounds, I think that they match the graphics perfectly. Great game overall.

Overall pretty fun! Tough but fair. I like that you took the time to make the area doable in multiple ways depending on what powers ups you have. I think if you expanded this that could be a great idea to build on.

Really fun and quite addicting. Really enjoyed the random effects mechanic, haven't seen that in this jam so far. Sound and music was great too. Would really have liked to see some more levels. looking forward to see where this game is taken.

I like this - it's the kind of game I'd make if I were better at making fun mechanics. Music is cool and retro feel works nicely. Shame I suck at it though!

I like the random changes to the gameplay, but the graphics were a bit simple. As mentioned earlier the sound and music was great! Overall nice job for your first game jam!

Good alterations on a solid platformer foundation. :green_heart:

Cool game that took me a couple tries to beat. Really liked the reverse power, took me by suprise after only having had jumps and speeds for the first few minutes.

Making it time limited was a good move, else I would have sat there waiting for the perfect modifier.
Simple game and my hand has almost recovered from the intensive gaming cramp.
I would suggest that you make a restart key. I found it a little awkward having to use the mouse.

Good little platformer, only thing I would suggest is making arrow keys work as well as A and D.

Hey everyone, thanks for the feedback!

@voidsay After play testing it so many times after the submission, I definitely agree with you that a restart key is needed

@atomfox0213 Interesting, I never thought of this during development. This is a great insight, it's a simple change but will make the controls cater to both left-hand and right-hand users.

A surprising tight little platformer for 48 hours. There are a lot of nuances to platforming mechanics that are easy to get wrong and this one jumped right over them! I liked the randomly applied effects. Would have loved to have seen more levels!

A little frustrating, but just turning out a solid little game like this is an achievement in itself for a first jam.

Not sure about duration of press being the primary jump control (but then again I'm not a platformer). Congrats on the first jam! We were there!
