I have a soft spot for "single-player cooperative games". This one is very difficult (it is indeed very unstable, heh), but shows the potential of such a simple core idea!

Really like the music for this - nice and dramatic and fit the mood perfectly. Simple and effective core mechanic. Overall, I had fun with this :)

I loved those cutscenes. I had to look into the source if that was library of some kind or if you implemented it yourself and you indeed did, well done!

@Furfel Haha, sorry for making you look at my awful jam-code :P I have considered making a set of utils to make this kinda thing easier, but I have just been too lazy. I probably spent like half of the time this jam to make the cutscene things work properly.

Awesome cutscenes! I love the storytelling. Awesome work buddy!
BTW, you mentioned that our RadioFrog game would be cool if it had sound. We JUST uploaded the version with sound, we were running a bit late on schedule :D

Wow, I love the presentation and writing here. Anime-level drama combined with 4th wall breaks to explain controls and arcadey gameplay is really funny. Great job on that. Gameplay is simple, but it's pretty fun. This is exactly the kind of complexity that I'm able to effectively multitask at, haha, so it was satisfying. Nice entry!

The art and the music combo made me feel like those balls had souls.

`And just like that, the world ended` Sigh. Sorry everyone! But at least it ended with a very cool game, love the art and style. Thanks for letting me play!

Great work! I have fun finding the balance. I got the trick to hold the ball in the middle and held it for 39 seconds. And the narratives are excellent. Nice work!

The concept is simple but you added a lot of variety to the game. The cutscenes were a nice touch. I was able to balance for 59 seconds!

Was unable to proceed past the storm, it instantly yanked me to the other side. Still liked playing it! Also the little story +1

I overall liked the gameplay and the story. Some of the artwork seemed a bit unfinished, but else is it pretty good. And I love the music.

Very nice! I love how the hail keeps throwing a wrench in the system I have going on for balancing everything 🤣

Wow quite the story for a ball balancing game. The in game text really kept it going as well. Well done!

That was a great mood. Great music as well, and the gameplay/controls was simple but worked well. I survived 36 seconds. Oh and the choice of the keyboard keys was strange but probably was meant to increase difficulty ? Anyway great entry. The music + dialogue combo gave an incredible mood.

@betamorfosis Thanks for playing! I originally planned to add jumping to the game, so WASD and IJKL could be used, however I felt that it didn't really fit so only the left and right keys for each hand remained.

Graphics and sound are really good, they fit you in the right atmosphere! I keep dying every 5 seconds, so I guess the theme is on point as well

Very nice little game, I liked how you managedto bring the most experience using this simple premise. The music is fantastic and adds a lot to the overall mood.

Difficult, but pretty fun to try for a couple rounds! Would be interesting to see how it changes if you mix up the events and things thrown at the player. For instance, suddenly decreasing gravity again might throw your balance off, melting the hail, etc.

Not bad! I liked the story and the drama around the world ending.
Gameplay was interesting, the control-two-balls scheme was original and interesting.
I liked it how Box2D round shapes are falling from above XD ! They do look a little like drops of water ;)
