Hi! Sorry, are you sure this is the right link? It seems to be giving me an error!

A nice base for a text adventure, now it just needs some more choices and puzzles. Mood is there though and the writing is fine, as well as the one puzzle that is in the game.

@sasha-v Hi! Sorry for the late reply, but the links seem to be working fine for me (and others). Maybe it was an issue with the Itch servers? If it still doesn't work, let me know!

@silkworm-sweatshop Hello! I would have liked to expand the story and gameplay further but the time limit was a bit tight. Thanks for playing!

A nice short little story of a game, I appreciated reading the writing of this more than anything. It's more of a slight interactive novel, but nonetheless a nice entry writing and visuals wise.

Quality experience. Enjoyed the story, the controls and the overall mood. Also fits the theme really well.

Nice story but really short and not much to it.

Really nice experience, very well written. Only issue I have is not being able to make the words appear quickly, maybe a button to skip the typing animation

@not-as-artistic oh yeah it works fine now! I think itch tried to give me an editing link for some reason?.. anyway all good now!

I enjoyed the game - the mood and the audio/visual ambiance was on point as well. As for constructive comments, would agree with some commenters aove that the story was a bit on the short side (although completely understandable given the time limit) and that it would be lovely to have the option to speed up the text.

Also lovely to see a narrative game! We did one as well, seems like there are very few of these on LD :)

@sasha-v I think I temporarily took the game down right after it was published to see if it was the right version, maybe it had something to do with that.
Anyways, thank you for the lovely comment! Juice or mechanics aren't my strong suit, so I try to go narrative.
The critique on the lack of content, also pointed out by @daniel-vardimon and @energizedblast, I wholeheartedly agree with. I had this idea of a text-based game using anagrams (the words themselves becoming unstable), and I wasted too much time on trying to make that work. If I hadn't, I'd have added more worldbuilding, maybe multiple endings, and some spoopy moments for y'all to enjoy.
Thanks for playing!

I nice little game, I agree with other comments that it could have used a bit more content but it was still quite relaxing to play. You managed to give a good old computer feel, what I would have liked to see was a way to return to the starting page after the end credits.

I really liked the story. Given more time, this could become a nice interactive novel where you have to find cues and solve puzzles to reveal the truth. The graphics and audio were nothing mind-blowing but fitted the game's theme perfectly. I like the "unstable mind" interpretation of the theme.

I appreciate text games developing such good atmosphere! Enjoyed to play it in headphones. Wish there is a way to skip a bit slowly appearing text. And typing "next" every time instead of button pressing seems like busy work. Other than that feels good. Well done

I'd really like if there was more to it.

This was really cool, and also pretty creepy. From my interpretation, the guy was schizophrenic or had some type of mental health condition. It reminded me of "A Beautiful Mind". The mood was spot on. I do agree with a lot of the other comments. I wish there was more to the game. But that's okay. What was there was really good.
Also, I couldn't figure out the password for the life of me. So, that kinda sucks :/

Well done. The Notes chapter confirmed my hunch about the main story, but it's a solid little tale and I love both the visuals and the ambient audio. The police sirens kicked in at just the right moment to creep me out a little.

You've definitely got a good setup here for a bigger story, if you wanted to pursue it further. Seeding a few "secret" entries in the text would be a great way to start spinning it out into something bigger.

Nice short text adventure. I don't have much to say, other than I like your choice of text adventure! Always cool to see fresh takes on LD!
