Hello we did bug fix post LD update (Original files still available) for critical bugs.
- Continue (from save game) did not work and crashed game
- Score to finish level was set to 1 instead of desired numbers
- Chainsaw had hit box behind itself instead of on image
- Player was shooting from feet instead of weapon

Gameplay itself is cool and dialogues are brilliant.
For once, it is good prevention very well implemented. We really need more of this in the whole industry. Gameplay may need more work, tho. Please keep up the great work, push this game further than a simple jam entry.
I played three days and called it quits after that. The arena shooter sequences are sincerely some of the best I've played in a LD project, but I never could make enough points to get more than the most basic-tier upgrade. I'm a little unclear how upgrades work, on that note - are they cumulative? Like, each time I score at least 3000 points, I get a buff to my gun?
I played the jam version and the score screen looked like this:

Looking at your screenshot there's something wrong  I played the jam version.
Looking at the results I get the impression the spikes are actually good. Not sure if that is the case, though.
Aesthetics are great. I love the graphics, but for me the pixelated assets just don't work with the rest. Music is fitting to the atmosphere. And looking at the comments, your choices do affect the battles in some way. That's good.
Good work, I enjoyed it!
Good game.
The fight works pretty well, it's not that hard and the characters and animations are neat but I still find that there's a little lack of feedbacks and game-feel elements (such as screenshakes, vfx on the weapon etc.)
I didn't really enjoy being stuck at a level if my score didn't reach an expected number, I think there's no real link to the story (it could have been fun if the score would impact your future dialogs without stopping you to progress in the story)
Otherwise, you did a great job !
