Very short game, and hardly any replay-ability. I also couldn't tell at first that the text below Sara was dialogue options. I liked the music, and the fact that it was playable in the browser.

Interesting concept, though there really needed to be more choices. This is an idea I would really like to see expanded upon. Good Luck!

Thanks for the feedback, some options turned out to be a little harder to achieve, requiring you to play several times... I'll improve this :3

I don't think your hosting is very good because itch.io restricts the display of the game: either play in a tiny box or fullscreen. I would have personally preferred some middle ground to this.

But there is a very convenient way to rehost this. Since your game is an `.html` file and in a Github repository you can enable Github Pages, which automatically builds a webpage for your repository. This is what I personally used to host my game. You can enable Github Pages by going to your repository settings -> pages -> select branch "main" with folder `/ (root)`. Then your game would be available at `https://camomiila.github.io/HelpSara/Help Sara.html`, but if you rename your file to `index.html` then you could play it at `https://camomiila.github.io/HelpSara/`.

I wouldn't have thought to do a choices-matter dialogue game for the jam, and you nailed it!
Loved the sound track, Sara felt very real, and the effects you did with the font were very fun (Sara is NERVOUS)

@ghoulean man, I didn't know that, I even had a lot of difficulty sharing the code because I had never used GitHub. Thank you so much for the tip!! I will make :3

Hi. Ok i was not ready to feel that much for a jam entry. I met a woman in the past that used to have anxiety attacks and the feel and mood of the game/music was so spot on that I revived the entire thing as if it was real.

Great job. cute animations as well but this damn music was so intense ahah.

Keep up the great work :)

I mean... I can see there's a fair bit of work put in, what with the pixel animation and branching dialogue, but... I finished the game many times over in like 2 minutes?

Props for attempting a visual novel though. Don't see many of those.

@kbf123 unfortunately I had very little time to produce as I had too many other responsibilities in JAM's schedule. But I wanted to participate anyway and lacked a little more polish, regarding the choices I would like to give the player more options and address SARA's feelings a little more. Unfortunately there wasn't time, but I'll put it into practice :3

Very nice little game, I liked the music so much, even though it was surprisingly intense for this kind of games.
