This is a interesting concept and I do love to see new approaches to what a "game" is. Enjoyed the atmosphere, though I got stuck in Chapter 2 and never got past that.

Interesting! Ideological justification for literally burning entire continents never gets old!

@marossi, @t-c, @dustin-brown, @kutaryoushinkoku - thanks for playing!

I am sorry that the game sometimes freezes. I reloaded the file with the corrected version, I hope this helps.

Nice try on describing the story with game maker. Hope to see more narrative interactions like selecting continent to bring democracy in the game.

@tory, yeah, sorry, it's false-positive. For some reason Game Maker compiles games like this =\

Very nice tale of a future of the world being told in a western point of view. It is quite funny to see how you burn everything and then somehow everything blew up in a short time. I really also like how the world order UI break.

Wow, this is really cool game! The mood of this game really set the corrupt, and horror tone of war. Great job dude! Like others said, if you had more time, i think this could be a really cool narrative driven game.

The concept of this game is very different from what I usually see in jam games, and it come acrosses it clearly, I would have liked some form of tutorial, but it was a good game nevertheless. You can defenitly add on more to this game with time, great job man!

Interesting concept! For what it's worth, I actually had no problems downloading and made it to the end no problem. I kind of liked how it was disorienting and you had to guess how the controls worked. The pace of the story did feel a little rushed, but obviously that's because of the jam's time constraint!

Interesting idea. I thought the game would be more specific to Vietnam since the intro focused only on it.

Great atmosphere and writing although, I do wish it was longer to make a more lasting impression. What was there was well made though.

As a former pol. science student of international relations, the grains of truth in the chaotic comedy made me giggle. Well done!! Wish I could have seen the perspective of the other 2 or 3 "great nations" :D

Nice to meet you guys! The game has cool atmosphere: the first and the last chapters were creepy. Graphics are simple but supports the atmosphere. Remarks on polishing the game: window is pretty small on 4K display, so it is hard to focus on things. Good job!

I'm going to forego my political opinions, and just say that this was a fine piece of art. It really has the potential to educate people, if expanded and gamified (to keep their attention and make the experience more interactive/persona1).

Makes me think someone should make a "Call of Duty"-style game, but if you die once, you're DONE. No checkpoints. No mercy. You start back at the beginning of the game, or your mission failed and you have to live with the results. Might make people re-think how "cool" war can be and how "badass" they would be under the circumstances. The poor are dying, to keep the rich in power.

Dammit, I said I wouldn't be political, but this game got me heated.

That was interesting and unique. This was probably the most serious "game" I "played" this LD. It definitively fits the theme. Good job!
