Hi there! This is my first solo jam!

I spent too much time on the code and almost didn't have time to draw anything, but I did it! pesa.png Future. This AI can manage one industry at once but very effiсtive. The operator determines the tendency of a machine and choose correct direction (GOOD - Social, NEUTRAL - Science, BAD - Army, war)

Day goal - collect 100% energy

Day starts with 50% energy

Correct direction gain energy

Cool game! Once I realized how to play I made it through a few days. Always fun to see numbers going up. If you were going to improve it, I'd recommend putting more player feedback than just changing numbers, so that it's more obvious when the player is doing the right thing. For example, you could change the color of the numbers to red when they are going down, or green when going up; or you could play a sound when the player clicks on the correct button, and another sound for the incorrect button. Well done!

I found the AI to be very cute although I think it should have smiled at 70 or 80% upward i felt like he was angry at me too much of the time haha!

I managed to reach 31 days. Is it a good score?

Btw cute game, I liked it. I'd only suggest an harsher difficulty scaling because it gets a little bit boring around the 25th day.

I love the premise. The idea of getting a really smart but *unstable* AI to manage different aspects of society is interesting :robot: . No complaints that haven't already been addressed. Great work :D

@phanelly Thank you for comment! Growing difficulty was planned, but then i add it game become very difficult (Btw I'm not a programmer, and you'd better not see how it is coded, ahaha) But yea, I'll try to make it better, thanks for your opinion

Surprisingly addictive, it seems that we are really hardwired for numbers going up :D I found the visuals quite charming and the facial expressions of the AI very expressive. At some point you get into the zone with clicking the correct buttons with a right strategy, after which the game became quite easy. Maybe the game could get harder with time with more difficult facial expressions? Other than that it was a fun game, good work!

Well the game looks nice, I like the graphics of AI. The gameplay by itself it quite simple, but it took me some time to understand how do I actually play it. I guess it would be nice to have any sound effects which will notify when the mood is changing or about to change. To be honest it feels more like I'm trying to satisfy a very emotionally unstable girlfriend neither then controlling the AI behaviour

Fun game, interesting places are when computer change faces several times in small time, it's bit challenging!)
Recomendation: energy level text is trembling, so, its better to fixate word Energy, number and % sign as 3 different texts to make trembling only numbers a bit

I played one time and about 5-th day i set goal to myself to complete 21 days, so i stopped playing at 22-nd day. Not so hard for me - is difficulty rises through time? :slight_smile:

Nice concept, not one I've really seen done before where you're trying to quickly ride whatever wave is in front of you. I ended up making it easier for myself by shrinking the window very small, so that the buttons were closer and I could see the 4 main components easier. I made it to day 12 and it seemed like I could just keep going, especially after I noticed there was a pattern of switching back and forth in the later days.

I'm curious what else you had in mind for the game. I clicked on debug and saw all kinds of stats. Are those actually implemented in the game or are they holdovers for future development?

@andreman Thank you for recomendation :) And there's no time-based difficulty yet (I tried to add this feature, but the game got VERY difficult and frustrating when the fast switching phase came in) But I thinking about rework some logic to realise it post LD. Another way - change controls to 123 or ASD, but my concept involves using a mouse to move your hand every time

Yes and yes! Game creates and uses all 9 parameters, but the algorithm is very simple. I want to remake and improve it

Very simple game with cute art. I 2nd the sentiment about player feedback needing improvement, could be juicier too. Good job overall!

Simple concept with good art. Pretty good by LD standards. Only thing I'd suggest is some way for the game to get harder over time so that a high score feels like an accomplishment. Also, I appreciated the rare appearance of the all seeing eye 👀
