gets kinda boring afner the gas station, but i guess it is for the atmosphere. Graphics are super cool and goose is funny. maybe do a car starts faster.

Very cool and atmospheric game, love the silent drive through the thunderstorm. Although the car feels a bit slow. I understand your supposed to take in the world but I think that could still be done going a little faster.

Very interesting game, perfect graphics, I just think the car should go a little faster

bit to much of a walking simulator, needed some more stuff to interact with or atleast needing to turn the car, the dialogue clashed a bit with the atmosphere of the game. Loved the graphics, strong theme implementation. (Invisible walls yuck :P)

Really nice game, I thought I made a deep one, but this beats my game to pieces.. Really insanely good game man! [cough* car speed *cough]

The environments were interesting enough to keep me playing to see them all. I wish the gas station scene had let you seamlessly get out of your car, walk in, talk, and walk out -- the transitions took me out of the immersion quite a bit. The car also did feel a little too slow, and the fact that the only sound it made was the windshield wipers also felt like a missed opportunity. Good experience overall!

Great thriller, i felt a great horror PS1 game style vibes, the atmosphere, the silence, it delivers the unsettling experience. But i just think some UI icons and a back up button in the driving mode.

What an excellent delivery for a game jam. I was taken away by the extent of thought that has gone into this project. The Twin Peaks-like part with eerie woman and goose at the gas station, the Silent Hill-esque scene with the pulsating meat trees, flying stingrays and chanting voices. And to top it off, all the glitch effects. The amount of work that must have gone into this to make it work, is beyond me!

Finally, fantastic job on the assets - I expected the game to be mostly driving (reusing the same assets effectively to create the road). So I was taken by surprise several times to see you introduce a new scene/stage like 3 or 4 times throughout the game. Beautiful work and an excellent delivery on the theme :)

This is a very and unique game for this jam. I love the PS1-era graphics, and the ambience and sound effects worth with the graphics to give the game a very creepy vibe. While the gameplay is simplistic, it is definitely made up for by everything else. For some reason, though, the controls for the car stopped working for me three different times, requiring me to restart. This really hurt the overall experience and atmosphere for me. Other than that, amazing job.

highly moody game, i enjoyed the unsettling PS1 aesthetic. however, your English could use some proofreading.

i encountered two bugs where the car wouldn't start again after stopping: at the gas station and after the accident.

Really spooky and unsettling atmosphere! Jump scare was effective. I felt like a distracted driver reading the text at the bottom of the screen, although that kind of added to the paranoia that something would happen while I was driving. I liked the art style and you did a great job with all the psycho effects. I personally would have liked more interactive gameplay but I also understand what you were going for. Goose was random and funny. Great job!

It was very interesting trip. I think this walking simulator requires more to be developed in madness/reality balance to be not so obvious for player about main character mental health, but it is for future (if u want). But now, thank u for great experience!

A good approach for a horror game. I think it's hard to balance everthing for the right mood in such a short amount of time. You did a great job.

### I love the atmosphere you've created! ###

**The mood and atmosphere of this game are top notch!** I think this is one of the most engrossing games I've played this jam. I have to give you so many points for the graphics and the atmosphere. Really creepy and trippy.

However, I felt that the game was **a bit too slow**. Even controlling the car felt a bit awkward. I think tuning the movement would go a long way into making this feel snappier.

I also felt like **the writing detracted from the atmosphere**. I understand English isn't everyone's first language, so I am not talking about grammar or sentence structure here. Rather, I am talking about the dialogue felt forced and out of place for the context it was in. The responses didn't feel genuine. I think even reducing dialogue would have sold the mood a bit better.

Other than that, I would see **I really liked spending time on this game**. It was a lot longer than I thought it would be, and the fact that this was done in 3 days is mighty impressive. Congratulations on making such a well put together game in such a short time. **Well done!**

Hello. A few days ago I saw your game on Itch.io and I played. After my game, I noticed that it was an entry for the 49th LudumDare and I searched your game among others without any success (there is no link). But finally today you posted a message on the LDjam main page, and I found you - great idea.

I really loved this strange experience. I remember another game like yours which I played a few years ago, and I really thought that you made this one too - **Paratopic**. The same aesthetic, the same effects, the same stange story - a driver under the rain... Maybe I am wrong, but I want to say that your game is amazing. What a mood! Not too freaky. I really had fun playing. One of my favorite entries for the 49th LudumDare. Well done ++

Lorem ufff I love retro aesthetics, very good horror vibe and perfect absurd dialogue. The only thing that struck me was reading the text at the very bottom while driving. It was almost as strange and unpleasant as reading messages on the phone in my car while driving. I know this is dangerous behavior and I do it rarely but it does happen, so don't know if this is a conscious use here or not but it works. :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Wow.. what a beutifully crafted atmosphere, I found this game very inspiring.
The visuals and sound design are definetly something special.

I was the whole time afraid there would be someone sitting next to me (or behind me) in the car.

I really wish to see more come out of this.
Solid work just in 3 Days.

Superb horror experience, really well done. I love the graphics and sound design, not to mention the general aesthethic of the rain-soaked road, gas station, forest, and especially the flying manta rays. I thought the goose's shadow was a monster at first! Great work!

This game is just awesome. Starts like Outlast... becomes some kind of Silent Hill and has a spooky goose that does absolutely nothing! I always though it would appear on the backseat, but no. I really like the PS1-graphics. You did a great job! Five stars.

Good game! The graphics were great, and you did a good job with your fear factor. The car crash got me pretty good - especially since I had been looking around and looked in front of me just in time to see the car before the crash. The messages were a bit slow though, and they sometimes didn't complete before beginning the next message. I would also recommend a reverse control - I got stuck one time when I was trying to get into the gas station because I ran into a rail and couldn't move away from it. Other than those few things though, I liked the game! Well done!

I really liked that it is possible to rotate the camera in the car, the only thing that is unusual is that there are no rear-view mirrors. I also had fun with the radio and then had an accident with another car. The game is very cool. thanks

Love pretty much everything about this. This is the aesthetic I'd hoped to achieve with my game but ran out of time. I'm curious if you took any inspiration from David Lynch as well. Anyways you nailed it!

Great atmosphere - I especially liked the rain effect and the super cool lamp with the flickering flame. Was positively surprised that you can drive the car. The narrative didn't work for me, but I liked the ending. Plus points for the funny goose!

Wow this is really inspiring. You use of color, textures and lighting is amazing, the highway looked truly beautiful, especially the lightning making the sky glow.

The interactions were really fun and the game design made it clear where you had to go next.

Fantastic. Thanks for making this trip!

Mood in this game is amazing and graphically it looks beautiful.

I don't see how it ties into the theme that much and the gameplay is pretty shallow, but the writing pacing, tension building sound design and (again) mood are just on point.

I liked the atmosphere and graphics, but the text would cut off before finishing; which, made it hard to understand what was happening.

If it helps: I used the fixed version on a fully up-to-date Windows 10 machine.

Very moody atmosphere, the old school visuals are cool.

The game itself is kind of slow and boring, sorry. Nothing to do except drive, interact with a couple dialog boxes, walk a bit, interact with dialog, repeat, end. The car accident was a nice jump scare moment, but other than that, everything just falls a little flat.

Still a very good effort! Good job!

Maybe I don't understand something about such horror... But I was bored. Thanks for the atmosphere, but for the explanations and the plot ... Such. I had to constantly joke and communicate with myself in order to finally finish the game). And not that there was something cool in the atmosphere, because such post-processing has already been used in many places. But for the fact that you did this - one, then handsome!

A very unsettling experience, it hits right in the spot of disturbing creepiness. The models are as frightening as they are low quality, this game is really good. I was so captivated that at the ending I couldn’t totally relief myself even when there was no apparent threat.

Creepy out of 10.

What a masterpiece! All your components fit together like a clockwork! The game reminded me of Stephen King movies. You have definitive have potential to scare other people!
