Update Log

10/5/2021: try to solve the problem caused by the unexpected behaviors related to screen coordinate system in WebGL fullscreen mode (failed); so I disabled the fullscreen mode on WebGL for now

Introduction

Three groups of puppets are living peacefully in their cell yard, without a worry in the world.

However, the puppets are lively creatures, and their curiosity to the outside world is growing every second.

Sadly, whenever they meet anyone that is not from their own clan, things will go bad. The round headed puppets outside of the walls are trying their best to keep those puppets in their place, but it is just not enough.

What you need to do is help the round headed puppets, protect those fragile creatures and try your best to maintain the stability of their communities.

Game Play

The square headed puppets will try to transform the concave headed puppets into one of their own;

The concave headed puppets will try to transform the sharp headed puppets into one of their own;

The sharp headed puppets will try to transform the square headed puppets into one of their own;

The round headed puppets will try to catch people outside of their wall and send them back.

When puppets are caught too many times or transformed too many times, they will go crazy (killing others) or dull (stop doing anything) , and eventually get confused about who they are and kill themselves.

You can drag them without your cursor and put them where you want them to be, as long as it will prevent them from doing anything stupid.

Looks very nice, it gives me a bug when i put it in fullscreen, there is a weird image duplication glitch that makes it unplayable for me :(

@andreadbx thanks for playing and I'm sorry to hear that, it appears to be a bug where when played in fullscreen mode on WebGL, the screen coordinates will be the actual coordinate on your system screen instead of the game screen, so when the game is not made for curtain aspect ratio, any code that uses the screen coordinate will break...and this doesn't happen on other platforms. I haven't found a way to solve it yet, so I've disabled fullscreen mode on webgl for now. Please feel free to try it without fullscreen or play the windows version of the game :handshake:

The gameplay fits well with the theme of this time!! but it feels like more elements can be added.

@lexian Thanks for playing! You are right, we initially planned for a lot more types of character interactions (we even have the arts for them already), but the interactions we already have and the AI system took much longer than we expected, typical ludum dare :(

It is very incomprehensible, but the drawing is cute.

It looks good and sounds good. I found it very hard to actually click on the puppets in order to move them around, and it seemed like there was real end goal, besides "don't let them die/go crazy".
