made by mactinite for Ludum Dare 49 (JAM)

PotionCellar1.png PotionCellar2.png The Potion Cellar is a small potion shop in some unnamed medieval city. You must work with unstable ingredients to make potions for your clients. Play the mini games for each tool, being careful not to ruin the unstable ingredients.

Directions:

Click and drag tools to the middle of the table to use them. As customers make their order you can pick ones to make from the order list on the top left. You need to make enough money to cover your daily costs.

On my first day I went bankrupt, without understanding what was happening. On my second day I learned all the small mechanics to make these potions. On the third day I was the best potion maker in town. Very good game. I like how you visually supported, the little tasks. Audio is good, as well.

The mini games are great. This would be an awesome mobile/touch screen game. The concept is really interesting. It would be really compelling if you could flesh out the world and customer stories (if you had more time).

It was fun, although I was a bit confused about how to follow the instructions for the potions. I was dragging the tools around hoping something would happen.
In any case, the music was great, the art was nice, and the dialogue was funny.

Pretty good idea, it was funny to play. I would suggest to give some animation when you mix some potion wrong like explosion or something like that (just for fun)

Now I know what NPCs are doing behind the scenes! Graphics and music are amazing. I tried in fullscreen at first and grinding didn't work as it was reading mouse movements as too slow all the time

Simple but good game. There was great minigames, I think the game need a better progression to be more funny but it's difficulty to calibrate in a Game jam. Good job to the team !

Am I missing something or is there just the mortar and pestle? I ground up so many wheats and the timer started going into negative numbers! :)
The art and audio are good though.

Congrat, you accomplished quite a lot in this gamejam! The game is pretty fun, the music is catchy, and I like the variety in the minigames to creates potion.
I'm not sure if it was a bug or maybe I didn't understand something: At the start of the second day I immediatly loose all my money, I got 'gameover', then I restarted at the beginning of second day again.
But overhall a great idea and great execution!

I had fun learning all the different potion recipes. It's very impressive that you need almost no explanation on how the minigames work! The pause between recipes and ingredients could be a little shorter in my opinion. I can see potential for some Paper's Please type dilemmas here, or different potion qualities depending on your performance -- I would love to see this expanded in a post-jam version!

Had a few bugs with the equipment, dropper disappeared at one point, and after I went bankrupt and started again I still had everything.
After I figured out how to play, it was fun. Music is good, too. Graphics are well done.

Potion Sellah, I need your strongest potion, I'm going into battle :hearts:
A really good entry, the way you craft potions is very funny!

The minigames are quite simple but fun even after some time of playing (so not too simple to get boring quickly). The music is good and catchy and it fits the rest of the game. The visuals are also very nice.

I appreciated that the minigames weren't overly difficult and I love the little fire guy. Overall delightful.

I really liked the "arcade" minigame flavor. An entertaining game :)
