Just quarry on by the_martijn

Guide this mining-droid to the bottom! Well... Only if there is a bottom... Drill yourself down and collect resources to upgrade your machines. There are severall useful upgrades to reach your goal much quicker:
- The diamond drill lets you drill by holding the left mouse button instead of clicking the blocks individually.
- The laser drill is as quick as the diamond drill, but when you press the right mouse button, you can destroy a bigger radius. This will cost you energy!
- The engine can be upgraded a few times. With each upgrade your fueltank gets a bigger capacity and you'll get more fuel from coal!
There are 6 different ways to play this game. By choosing one of the following settings you choose when the game ends: - play 500 seconds - play 1000 seconds - play 2000 seconds - reach layer 100 - reach layer 1000 - reach layer 2500

I didn't want to add the ability to move, to avoid stripmining which makes it too easy.
However; you cán move the droid by removing the layer under him and let him bounce on the edge, which makes it roll on that removed layer.
Overall very well done! Congrats!
Something I was questioning though was moving the drill, it's fun to have to mine blocks to get it to move left and right but sometimes a bit tedious and could've done with an upgrade maybe to allow the player to use arrow keys? Either way brilliant work! :D
You really nailed the feeling of progression. I was about to give up, when I could finally afford the laser drill.
And then the same thing again with the laser. When got the laser it was such an amazing feeling. Destroying so many blocks at once is just so much fun!
The art-style is simple, but good looking. I really like the look of the UI-windows.
The biggest problem for me was the performance. At some times it felt like I had only 2-3 FPS which can make the game feel a bit slow and tedious.
But other than that it was really cool!
It's very seamless. You don't have to worry about driving and digging.
You just do both at the same time.
Kinda clicker style, and i would give more resources per node.
Since it took me some time to get the upgrades.
I like this game and the title ;p
Anyway, good starting mechanics overall.
Some audio would add to the experience but overall it is fun game.
I enjoyed the circle/wheel physics as a change up, which dictated the strategy for how you should dig since it directly lead to your movement.
Nice job
Grindy lil digger, a bit click-heavy in the beginning for my liking :)
Would be good to get some audio in there, with some drilly sounds.
