Lost Contact
Imagine receiving an SOS Signal from deep below. Would you try and find out who send it or try to ignore it? In this game the captain of our submarine decides to give his best and rescue whoever might be stranded down there.

Features:
- Awesome Submarine Mechanics
- An Amazing Splash Soundeffect (made with a tissue)
- 3 Different Zones To Explore
- and most importantly a lot of Treasures!!!

Controls:
- You control in which direction the submarine swims by pressing the left mouse button
- You interact with your environment and continue the dialog by pressing E on your keyboard
- To collect treasure you just swim into it

Known Bugs :(
I will try to list all known bugs here. If you encounter any bugs, it would be pretty awesome of you to post them in the comments :)
- You keep your momentum when splashing into the water and can use it immediately to change your direction, which feels kinda off
Good Luck and Have Fun!

Nice Job
EDIT: ok i found out reading comments so i edit a bit :)
The struggle is real when you see treasures and are weighting your options between refill o2 or go and get more treasure XD. The shop isn't super obvious. I think that the sub should rotate faster when you buy the engine upgrade, as going faster increase your turning circle.
But overall, good job, it plays well!
I also encountered the bug about floating into to sky on the right side of the screen, it does not seem to be tied to momentum, maybe it's just a hitbox issue?
It felt a little frustrating getting caught in corners in a few places, though I think that is pretty realistic to what would happen.
I did get locked completely at one point. Not sure there was anything I could do from there.
Perhaps a reverse thruster of some sort to get off the ground would help both of these problems.
Overall though, I really had fun :)
!
Yeah! :sunglasses: Your game was really good and moody. I really enjoyed discovering the seabed, collect treasures and upgrade my submarine (which looks like a fish  ) Only one thing to fix: when the submarine comes to surface, its speed is too much reduced.
Great job on this jam!
Other then that i think this was really well made
However, you also managed to create a great atmosphere with the graphics and music, producing a mesmerizing mood that reminded me of the "Sunless" series. So, naturally, I played Lost Signal until the end and kept exploring until I wasn't able to upgrade anything else.
Even though the ending could be described as "anticlimatic", I feel it was fitting — after all, it's all about the journey, isn't it? I was impressed that I didn't lose my way even once, even without a minimap, but the exploration still felt interesting throughout the game. I also absolutely loved the fact that the "player" is so small in this vast world. In the end, it was a quasi-meditative experience filled with surprises and rewards that will stay with me for a while. Thank you for making this, I'd gladly play more.
The only nitpick I have is that sometimes the submarine gets "stuck" in some corners, so if you're looking to keep working on it, I'd recommend making some sort of way to "move backwards" to avoid some frustration. Another solution would be to not have to get too close to the treasures to pick them up, so these "bumps" would happen less frequently.
Overall excellent game, I hope you continue adding content to it
