I took the photos along the trails of the Pine Bush Nature Preserve in Albany,NY

This is a game made for the Ludem Dare 48 Game Jam! The Theme was "Deeper and Deeper". I created a visual novel that explores a dystopian future where dirt can be turned into food. The player works for the company that collects soil samples. I wanted to explore the themes of labor, corporate greed, food insecurity and environmentalism as well.

Future builds will include more interactivity, sound and music.

Hah! I loved the writing for this game- lots of great humor. I love the snarky, dystopian agri-company and I think the game had a good message about preserving the environment! I definitely hope this future doesn't come to pass, because that free meal looked..... :disappointed_relieved:

I liked that you programmed in different endings based on whether you ate the food or not! Good job on the entry! :v:

The start of the game reminded me of the orientation and start of my current job with forced enthusiasm. This is great, really creative take on the theme and fun.
