This game was so pretty! It took me until that third course to realize my car could come off the track

I really recommend adding sound effects. Even cheap effects can add so some life to a game and it doesn't take to much time to implement them.

Neat game! I really enjoyed when I was going really fast and I thought all of the textures were pretty. however my problem with the game and you're mostly just going really slowly which is a little lame.

Textures are nice. Not much driving games out there ;p

The instant I hit a wall the camera flipped in a million directions. Very disorienting but once I got a grip of the controls I managed to make it through the first track. Definitely hard but very nice normal mapping on the track.

Hello. Interesting concept. It fits with the theme, but you should change the environement so as to fit better. The feelings are good playing, but physics are alittle bit too frustrating. I cannot drift efficiently and sometimes my kart has a strange behavior. May be with more practice I could play correctly. I will try again to beat my score. Is there no sounds? However, it's a solid entry. Thank you ++

This is okay little racing game. I wish there was some more gameplay. And it's too bad there is no music or sound effects.

Managed to do a barrel roll when unintentionally hitting the wall.
LOLed when I crashed the first time and the camera went bananas.

10/10 would play the sequel

Don't know how this connects with the theme but overall congratulations on finishing the game. It looks quite good, adding smooth camera follow instead of mouse orbit could add a lot to the game. Plus sounds and music of course. Nice attempt.

The main idea was that a soapbox has no engine and is only able to drive downside. Deeper and Deeper. But in development it turns out with no power the soapbox drives even worse.

The car physics got a lot of problems to solve and take the complet first day. For music and sounds wasn't enought time. Maybe in my next game.

I like the idea of having a race to the bottom, this is actually the first racing game I played in LD48. I agree with nosfer about having a smooth camera follow. Regarding physics though, you can cheat by adding a continuous force input (i.e. instead of having player press the button, move the code to event tick) during the duration of the race.

I agree with others, I haven't really seen many racing games for LD so it's fun to see something different, it's pretty fun and with some extra time could have been even better

Well, controlling the car was kinda hard. It was more like a car drifting game XD But it was funny to try to finish the first map in less than 1 minute (I failed...). The graphic where nice :-)

Points for doing something different after all those digging games

This is a confusing submission for me. You have the Audio and Humor category but its just a race track. I would say this is categorized more as a demo of driving a car and not really a game. Not much to do other than quietly drive around. I saw its your first game, so its definitely better than my first game, keep improving and you'll have awesome stuff. Hope to see you at next ludum dare with something even better :D

You used high quality assets, but how you used it does not make it look good. Especially for the grass. I like racing games, but I did not have fun due to the physics. If you should have spend more time on something it's the car physics. However it takes time to get it right, so it's ambitious to do so for a jam.
