A nice atmospheric little game. A very nice art style. Great audio too which really helped set the mood. I was hoping to find out what killed all the people since it seems to abruptly end. Almost like a cliffhanger :). Nice job!

This is not my style of game at all, but it totally sucked me in and I played right to the end. High marks all around.

It's already been told that the game surely looks atmospheric and sombre. The flickering of lights and what not go well hand in hand with the graphics (save for a few visual hiccups). But it really has a promising starting point and build up.

It does convey some starting mystery, which then turns dramatic, and some scenes like the train cart were great to behold. But I can't help but think that with a bit more of time you could have elaborated a bit more on the plot. Not necessarily towards a conclusion or big explanation, but the ending does feel very abrupt.

Regardless, not bad at all! It's always great to give a shot to different experiences in the jams, and horror narratives likes these are such a rare treat! Thumbs up to y'all! :whale:

Agreed, great atmosphere....I figured it would end badly for me...but actually I wasn't exactly sure what happened to me at the end!

**+**Great art and music

**+**solid direction: almost everything contributed to the spooky atmosphere.

**+**The thing on top of the elevator was a really nice touch.

**-**The ambient flickering noise was a bit too clicky. maybe needs a low-pass filter?

**-**too many dialog popups. could have floating "examine" text without the box and buttons

**-**the minecart part didn't feel like it fit

Was such a vibe! I think the end was a bit too abrupt though.

I swear I was just waiting for the game to give me a heart attack at some point. Honestly I can't tell if I missed something or just ends when you run out of light and get into the darkness, stepping into some slime . Great atmosphere there. I did miss a bit more actual gameplay than just walking but that's fine, I think just the suspense was enough.
There are few things I'd like to point out:
- Loved the Indy moment in the cart and how the speed affected grandpa's hair, lovely detail.
- The hands shadows that appeared above elevator when riding down... just reminded me of Don't starve, hehe. Subtle and maybe hard to notice but great!
- Grandpa character himself - I really liked the design and I think he would fit great into some point and click adventure game

Keep up the jam spirit and thanks for your previous feedback on my game

The result is a very atmospheric game, music and graphics are at a good level))
Hopefully in the future, grandpa will get a walking animation and be able to turn the other way)

@ve-ret It's actually an error on our part, he has an walking animation, nbut only for the WASD keys, i forgot to code in the arrow buttons :(
