P.S : This is my first Jam

I'm not very good in terms of graphics so I prefer take my sprites from the internet, here is a list of links :

Changelog 30/04/2021 at 10:57 : - Bug fixing (You can no longer climb walls and the character no longer run during dialogues). - Adding one block in the map to access the trophy :smile:.

Bug : - Some dialogues don't appear at all, I'm working on it.

i never figured out your controls since normal wasd didnt work. Also the music was slightly annoying.

The foundation of the game is really good with nice dialogue and camera. The also enjoyed the style even if the later.. deaths made it really difficult to parse information. Great job!

Strange game for sure! Is there any way to complete the platforming? I seem to fall always at the same point. The way the sprites get more and more corrupted after selling parts of your soul is definitely creepy. It was interesting, but it was definitely flawed. Im not sure if it's intentional but it's easy to sort of jump repetedly against a wall to reset the jump and fling yourself upwards.

@msipp27 yes indeed I noticed, it's just a physical material I forgot to add, and now, the Jam is finished and I can't modify my game anymore...

@deedose it's true that it would have been nice but I wasn't efficient enough to do a cinematic in the time I had left.

@tero-pulkkinen it's weird that you couldn't move, did you try the directional arrows?
As for the music, I added an icon to mute it.

realy good game, the only negative point is that we can't win, at the end, we can't even know where is the void. Nice graphism and animations

Played this game on the [stream](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1007202934?t=00h49m57s). I find the main concept of this game very creative, and graphics and music fit it perfectly. Mr Judgemental Eyes looks awesome and I am very happy I met them! I am very curious if there is a separate ending if you never die during the game, but I actually haven't managed to finish it all in one take :D Really nice entry, thank you so much!!

Excellent game idea. The graphics are especially well handled. I like a lot the concept, we had a bit of a similar idea with our respective games, tho I think your works better than mine about the environmental changes. Really nice entry.

Nice game idea! I love the "effects" you get when you die, and the beautiful selection of art and music! I think the game itself is not too complicated, so the focus lies on the story with the "judgemental eyes" (love that expression!). Overall, well done!
