Corporate Mole by JoeDev
Play as Hans as you work to delve deeper and deeper into Worm HQ on a quest of heart-racing espionage.

You are Hans, an undercover Mole operative sent to infiltrate Worm HQ and worm yourself deeper and deeper into their underground lair, stealing company secrets and sabotaging their workplace. This is the definition of a hostile takeover.
Aim of the Game:
- The aim of the game is to complete all of your 'Spy tasks' and get to the elevator to go down deeper to the next level of Worm HQ.
- Your 'suspicion' level will slowly increase, as well as going up if you get caught committing espionage.
- You must kill any worm that witnesses your illicit acts before they reach the elevator to warn the rest of the company.
- If your suspicion is getting high, you can complete 'Worm tasks' that are normal, non-espionage worm work (e.g. delivering a package to a bin) to blend in with your worm 'colleagues'.
- If your suspicion reaches 100% or a witness reaches the elevator, your cover will be blown - you lose.
Controls
- WASD to move Hans
- LMB to move camera
- SPACE to attack (*But only attack when necessary, as killing worms will increase your suspicion level and also reduce your score)
- F to interact with certain objects and tasks
- TAB to show/hide your To Do lists

Super nice graphics and overall really well done game!
Never has corporate espionage been this fun. I lost it right at the beginning with the worm disguise lol
The camera handling could be improved upon - it can get a tad frustrating when off-camera worms spot your shenanigans.
Cheers for playing and thanks for the feedback! I agree, I would have preferred more time to tune the camera or add some UI to show the direction of an off-cam witness
Blown away by the progress made in the time and always look forward to more from @joedev @tomlbarden
Well-made stealth/puzzle game. It was a little bit hard to understand when the worms are gonna notice my illicit actions. Having some sort of enemy FOV indication would have been nice.
But besides that, I had lots of fun burning evil Worm HQ Headquarters down to the ground :smiling_imp:
Nah it was definitely the Worms :knife:
The first game that I really finished and has enjoyed it. Love humor and artstyle. Know i can finally finish Hitman :D
I wanted to go more abstract with the theme, so its more about going **deeper and deeper** undercover as a Mole (literally and figuratively) infiltrating the business, until you get all the way to the top (bottom). Also I guess technically going deeper and deeper because every level of the Worm HQ is down further underground? But that's stretching it
Inspired me to do more unlit stuff ! Great job :D
SILENCE THEM
omg the graphics
Anyway, on the last level, it caught me off guard that there were new tasks appearing one at a time. When I infected the three computers, I kept running around trying to find if one of the computers had become uninfected. So maybe the new tasks should always be appearing one at a time. Also, once I realized that all the worms were going to go crazy at the end, I just killed them all ahead of time. I appreciated that I could not make small talk with dead worms. Though that would have been funny.
@tricky-fat-cat Thanks so much! I agree regarding the camera too, I think the rotation especially is quite hard to get the hang of, and I regret making the camera collide with the terrain. I'm really glad to enjoyed the rest though!
@badpiggy Thanks so much for your kind words :pig: Yeah I really miss those old platformers from the gamecube/ps1/ps2 days, so I'll take whatever nostalgia I can get  Agreed regarding the line of sight, I wish I'd had longer to tweak and balance their settings so that they felt a bit more fair (I think there's also some line-of-sight blockers missing here and there in the levels), but glad you enjoyed it anyway!
@mikew Thank you! That's quite the compliment :scream:
@whysguy52 When you say captured do you mean that you want the mouse to be invisible and for the camera to move with the mouse all the time, rather than just when you click and drag? I would maybe agree to be honest, and having the mouse cursor there does take you out of it a bit. Thanks for the 10/10
@rick2112 @steelax Cheers!
I just love the setup of this game. So unique and amusing at the same time. And the disguise of Hans is just precious, not suspicious in the least ;) Music and sfx are very cool and fit the game like a glove.
The game itself is fun, controls work well and feel polished. Personally, I would prefer E instead of F for interactions, but that's just a minor gripe. The only improvement I would suggest is to decrease the benefit of doing the same "worm stuff" over an over. After all, if I'm talking to the same guy at the water cooler again and again he might get just a tiny bit suspicious. Or at least creeped out ;)
Great job on the game!
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on stream! I played it yesterday. You can watch me play it here (at 2:58:23).
@pat-cleaver Thanks so much! That means a lot :) Big fan of espionage over here too!
@fabula-rasa Thanks! Haha yeah I suppose it is suspicious to repeatedly just chat to the same worm non-stop... but do the worms know that? :eyes: Thanks for the feedback! <3
@birdwards cheers for playing on stream, enjoyed watching greatly :)
@conduit Aw thanks, that's so nice! <3
@denzil-gomes Cheers! Yeah I wish we had more time to work on our other level concepts, unfortunately with just the two of us we spent too long on the functionality and models :sob: glad you liked what we did get out though!
