This is quality jank. I love it. The music is on theme and just mellow enough to not be distracting while still being relevant. And the timed shot mechanic is great! The full scene transition when getting hit by an enemy felt a little too much. Could that be sped up? Overall, this felt great. Good job!

Very nice game, Groovy baby. I like the music and the artstyle, the disco ball is juicy and the lights are very nice. Only thing that I dont really like is the transition upon resetting a level. When youre going to the next level its cool, cuz it feels like ur going places, but having to sit through the animation for a reset is painful.

Disco is life! Nice disco ball and variety in the levels as you go forward. Agree with previous comment on resetting a level, it takes quite some time to try again which is frustrating.

Really good job ! Nice arts and music, I managed to finish the game (the first shooting level was actually the hardest, since its the only one where the bullets follow you. :minidisc: :minidisc:

I'm impressed this is a compo game! I have two problems with it though: The death animation takes way too long, it should be like half a second long at most. And two: while the music is very good at first, I would have liked to see some different sections in it where it didn't use the same few notes over and over again as it gets a bit repetitive.

Really nice! I liked the idea, and the art and music were done well. It was very charming! Agree that the biggest issue is the slow reset time after dying. Overall, really good job!

I really like the music and how its tied to the gameplay mechanics, a little indicator for when the triple damage is possible would be helpful, when giving the player power you usually want to give them various angles to approach that objective so having a visual + audio feedback to that would make the mechanic feel a lot more polished. Other than that I really "dig" the combination of both 3d and 2d aesthetics. Congrats on making an interesting mechanics in such a short amount of time by yourself! <3

The only complaint i have is the way the platforms are rendered makes it difficult to determine if i was going to land on the platform or miss them. Otherwise it was a fun game.

Wow this is very surprising for a compo game. The music, and the visuals are outstanding. I do really like the 2d sprite in 3d thing. It's a fun/funny concept to boot. This is one of the more impressive ones I've played. Though I'll admit it felt like it had a high difficulty spike at one point that I got stuck on for a while. I can't say too much though since my game suffers from difficulty problems too :) Spectacular!

Nice game! Always a fan of disco, well integrated into the gameplay. Some levels are not balanced and your game needs a little bit of affection to be polished but it's already really nice, go finish it and release that beauty into the world ;P
