The frog made me laugh
I really do think the heart was a creative boss fight. A way to change it up could have been to have multiple weak points around the arena, but avoiding everything was still enjoyable. Music also was very fitting and did not get annoying hearing it restart, so good job on that.
Great game, good luck with this!
Overall a really solid entry with interesting and funny ideas!
- Frog.
- Graphics are well-polished.
- The player character feels a little sluggish at times, possibly due to lack of acceleration.
- I found the heart boss fight absurdly difficult compared to the rest of the game. With no checkpoints, I was forced to do the first phase repeatedly, which got tedious fairly quickly, and I ended up quitting.
Nice art style though.

I am very impressed by the turn the game took. Like, actually amazed. It has solid presentation (though I never like having to install LD Jam games), good music, and the bit with the frog was funny. At first, I thought that the jumping physics were a bit clunky and the platforming didn't really do it for me.
But then it turned out to be just fodder for a boss fight game. I really like these short games with unique big enemies, and this one is among the most fun ones I've played in a while. It truly looks and feels like some final boss. While the jumping was still a bit difficult, it felt better to just try to stay in place rather than to move around in mid-air, so it wasn't a problem here. I really dig that new obstacles kept being added and changing, and the moving floor was the most impressive of them all, since it directly challenged my strategy.
After 5 deaths, I was victorious. It was a superb fight. Perhaps a bit too difficult to some given that it's instant death with one hit (some which may feel unfair when it comes to the green bouncty stalactites), but it's not that long of a fight to being with, and with enough perseverance, one is bound to win.
I liked this entry a lot. It has a lot of creativity and heart (pun intended). It's just superb!! :whale:

I was a bit confused at first about the down dash mechanic, and control during platforming sections feels kinda floaty. I didn't like being forced to WASD in a 2d platformer, my left hand isn't as great at eye coordination as my right one. The final boss felt somewhat unfair, but I did finally beat it (a bit embarrassed about the time and death count it took, though).
Also, personal request to the world, could we go past displaying binary in popular culture computerstuff and advance to hexadecimal? :)
