Dive into the frontal lobe of a brain and navigate the brain tentacles! I used Godot for the game engine, Reaper for recording sfx/music, along with the Dexed synthesizer, Blender and Krita for the artwork. minddivetitlescreen.pngminddivescreencap.png

Good take on the theme! I really like the music. Its calming... The character looks like theyre floating in one of those salt water tanks. I'd like to have seen some progression - more challenges, more stuff you had to dodge, etc.

Interesting game, enjoyed the atmosphere and the graphics. Was simple but I can see would take some time to master it. Good concept!

The mood is very relaxing, I really enjoyed the music, reminded me of Eric Satie. The game is actually quite hard, but the controls are fair. I wonder if smaller green power-ups would help make it more forgiving...
Congratulations!!

I like that the person above me said this was relaxing, because I found myself so stressed! I found a green blob, but by that point my sanity was already almost gone with no end in sight. I like the music!

@litmuszest Great music and SFX! However, I would change how the character moves as moving with keyboard feels a little bit wonky and hard to control, maybe something to do with mouse/pointer position? Anyways, solid game. Keep it up!

Thankfully, I enjoyed the calming music because my trip through the brain was anything but serine  I enjoyed your take on the theme. You've pieced together some nice graphics, sounds and controls and made an enjoyable, if not stressful, game. Nice work!

The controls are great. I had a lot of fun trying to speed my way past nerve endings. Getting the guy to drift around a turn and then squeeze past two close endings was fun!

The music is not a banger or anything, but damn does it fit the atmosphere! Controls were tricky but fair. Nice work!

When I was beeing electrocuted while attempting to dive more and more into that brain... I could only think: maybe I deserve it :')

Nice mood in this game, the music really adds to it. I like your take on the theme. The controls felt really floaty, it really suited the game. I went insane, but I guess sanity is overrated anyway!

Ooh when I saw that green glowing thing I really wanted to reach it  Never got that far though. Found it pretty difficult (which I guess was the point). Well done!

What a surreal experience! I see that plenty of people found it stressing, but I thought it was pretty chill navigating/drifting through the brain! Maybe I just "got the hang" of the controls more intuitively than some? The music added a lot. Weird but good!

Awesome mechanic (it's great to see an LD action game that isn't a platformer!) that I think has a lot of promise. Art and music are super impressive, sounds are neat! Overall 4.5/5, awesome work!

I don't agree that the music fit the atmosphere lol I was stressed out the whole time trying not to get zapped!! Challenging and more fun that I expected to have tho, good job!

Nice game! I agree with many here that the music was perfect. It is really calm music that gives the mind room to think, which perfectly matches the game! I am also in the camp of people who found it pretty relaxing. Just floating around in a brain, evading shocky thingies.

I think the game was a bit long for what was there. After a while it would have been nice to spice things up a bit with new challenges or new things to see. Maybe even a change of art would have been enough to keep it interesting.

Another point of feedback is the end. I did not know where to go when I was there, and by accident I touched the red part. I think it would have been better if the exit was a bit more clear. Maybe there could have been some pathway that lead outside?

Nice little game! Thank you for making this! :)

I really enjoyed the music, very calm and fitting. The player movement felt really good too. I appreciate the choice you made in only allowing the player to propel forward. Spinning around and having my legs hit the walls felt so right! Not sure if the music was clipping or if that was the design choice, could have done with less clicks and pops. Could possibly use some random discharging to add some additional difficulty? Overall had a relaxing time getting to the end. Well done mate!
