Spot on with the theme :) I didn't like having to click or hit ctrl so many times. But I did like digging around the monsters. I felt like it's just about getting lucky and finding more shoes, that's the only strategy to getting a better high score. I wish there was a bit more skill involved because dodging the monsters was pretty easy. Especially at the fire stage, it felt kind of pointless, like the game was killing me and I lost control which wasn't too cool. Otherwise the mechanics worked well and I did feel like I'm digging straight down. Thank you for the game.

I had a lot of fun playing this! At first I wasn't quite getting it and then when I realized that there weren't gonna be any oxygen bubbles in my future - I started clicking like mad and ended up on the leaderboard. Very fun! Great work!

Yeah, I wasn't quite sure how to communicate to the user you need oxygen in the water and cooling wisps in the lava... I know i made the enemies avoidable, but the goal was kind of to make you fight the enemies... but for now, I think you can get on the leaderboard if you just get a bunch of shoes and click like crazy. :P

Nice game ! The gameplay was quite pleasing and I appreciate having multiple control options to choose from for playing the game. I really liked the sound effects when you are entering a new layer and the graphic style, it reminded me a lot of the old flash games I used to play on Newgrounds around the 2010's.
Great job !

Nice game! I def had no idea what to do when I hit water, I just panicked and dug faster bc, obviously the way to get more air is to go further down in the water lol. Really nice entry. Simple, easy to master and you wanna play again bc you kinda think you can beat that high score lol

Fun concept. Feeback:
- The texturing was funky as the player mined deeper. Would be nice to maybe just use a simple block tileset instead.
- When I dug a whole deeper in the water region, I couldn't jump back out :/
- Didn't know how to replenish oxygen without backtracking (air pockets somewhere maybe?)

A simple idea made so fun. Very fun gameplay that pushes you try getting on the leaderboard. I personally enjoy these simple programmer artstyles and mouth sounds. It's the true representation of Jam wholesomeness.

Ranked 8th in the world! ...For now. Honestly, adding in that high score table is a genius move It definitely kept me playing for a few extra rounds. High score aside, I quite enjoyed playing your game. It's a simple concept very well executed. I appreciated the extra layers of gameplay that popped up when I dug deep enough to get to the water and heat depths. Great job!

Love the game! The concept is fun and there's a good amount of content (haven't managed to see it all yet). I like the idea of expending the map horizontally the further you go down. The graphics are simple but they work well, and I looooove the sound design.

My main pain point are the controls. (On the web at least) they're not super responsive, which makes it hard to e.g. jump and then dig above. The character isn't always easy to control, I often run into enemies without meaning to, and since the hitbox is quite big, I end up taking a lot of damage because of that.

Overall one of my favourite entries so far :-)

Fun little game, it would be nice if you could just hold the button and the character would dig.

The sound and graphics was nice and added to the game.

click-and-hold to mine would have been wonderful, but it's pretty cool the way it is, also

Started out looking neet, but quickly I noticed there is really nothing to do in this game, except moving. There is no skiill, chalange or incentive involved. As such, it is rather boring.

Art was okay for a starting project. Sound was also a nice start. However, there should have been more for a good score.

Well done, surprisingly fun to play! Took me a while to understand that you have to attack the enemies.
