It's fun when you just leave behind the forest :smile_cat: . The pix of girls falling is really cute! (But I don't know how to finish the game)

The game is really creepy but it's kinda too hard. I don't even know what the goal is, I found some light but it didn't do anything. Also the demon catched me one time but it didn't do anything.

I love the concept of the game. The tripping is a great aspect of a horror game and being chased. It's just like the horror movies when the hero is being chased and trips over everything. I think there could be some benefit of explaining exactly what the goal is. Is it just trying to last as long as you can each time or running somewhere? I played several times and couldn't quite figure it out. Overall I think this is a good game with potential.

Great little pixel horror game! I love how it starts immediately on launching and the game closes when you die lol. Made me chuckle. The gameplay was also fun. Great start. I loved dodging trees, tripping on vines and pulsing my lantern to conserve fuel. I don't know if I can run out, but I pretended regardless. Towards the end I realized I could just run diagonally up and to the right and juke most of the vines and the spooky villain. Either way, great jam entry! Keep it up. :)

Clever use of the horror movie tripping trope. Great use of lighting!

I lost a few times and didn't get how the game was supposed to be played x) + the movement was so slow compared to the environment that I got a bit bored looking for the goal of the game.
The mood was cool however, and the game over screen as well; very scary.

I like the storyline, it is funny and scary. The goal of the game is maybe kinda unclear, I always ended lost in the darkness :D

You can simply leave to exit the game, that's great!
Nice little horror game :D I was actually scared, when that thing began to chase me. I'm curios, can this game be won? Or do you just have to run until your lantern goes of (I died a little bit earlier). I really liked, that you can fall over roots, it's kind of comedic and cliché^^ I like that you created a little story sequence at the beginning. Love how they are just called Bully A and B^^

Nice looking game! I liked the touch that you could leave right away and "win" that way. I didn't manage to escape the beast the normal way, my lantern ran out of fuel each time I tried, maybe I missed something :). Good job on the game~

Not bad! I don't know if there is a good ending, but I ran for some time. The tripping over collision is wrong, btw.

Cool game! It was definitely spooky! I feel like I outran the beast for a solid amount of time - is there a good ending? Or can you not truly escape? Either way, nice work!

Nice and atmospheric game. Pixel art is great.
I like that you put 2 endings here
